Haha, true that. :D

It'll probably reach 100+ pages in a month or two considering we're using it like a shout-box.

How do you like Call of Duty 3? Does it compare to Call of Duty 2? I loved CoD2, but I'm not sure about 3.

Mills McDougle - November 16, 2006 09:10 AM (GMT)
I'd recommend playing 3 first and get the feel to it. The gameplay and polish are there, but I'm not sure I like the new feel of it. It doesn't feel like Call of Duty; the controls are WAY too loose, IMO. Plus it has a completely different coat of paint than what Activision had on it. I'm not too sure I like the game being in Treyarch's hands.

With that being said, it manages to be more intense than CoD2(even though the gun sounds aren't as hearty). It's still fun, and there're scripted moments that your mouth agape. If you consider yourself a CoD fan, you have to try it out and at least put a few hours into it to get a solid opinion on it.

I've only played about 20 minutes of it, and it's a good game, honestly. It just doesn't feel like CoD....well, not the real CoDs that came out(which is Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2; the last-gen offerings didn't impress me).

Thanks for the impressions. I will have to check it out.

For the record though, Activision wasn't responsible for CoD2's look - they were simply the publisher. Infinity Ward (arguably the better developer) developed 2.

Edit: I worded that completely wrong. I'm tired.

Edit 2: Fixed.

bsu - November 16, 2006 09:19 AM (GMT)
Mills, you must rest. GTFO da cumputer.

Yeah, that's what I said, isn't it?

*checks*

Yeah, my reference was to Activision...oh, crap, I meant Infinity Ward. :pinch: Sorry. Yeah, I doesn't have the same feel as the Infinity Ward games...I'd rather it be in IW's hands still than Treyarch.

And why the hell isn't it on PC? Treyarch can die.

EDIT: WTF am I still up!? >_<

I'm going to sleep, guys!

anyone hear about the PS3 riots? lol, can someone explain to me why its worth it?

Mills McDougle - November 18, 2006 07:36 AM (GMT)
Well, the name alone causes uproars....

Despite Sony's disappointing show for PS3 thus far, the name PlayStation is still a house hold name. It shouldn't surprise anyone that people are riotting.

Oh, yeah, my 360 HDD fubared yesterday. :p My 'Box still works and everything, and I still have my GT on a memory card, but damn, all of my saves and stuff was on there. -_- I'm glad I had a warrenty on it, though. I guess I'll just have to start from the top.

bsu - November 18, 2006 10:43 PM (GMT)

This whorey MySpace webgirl that goes by both DURRTYGIRLY and COOOLHUNNY or whatever keeps spamming my inbox and I'm getting pissed.

On another note, Justin Timberlake's CD is SICK. I'm impressed.

bsu - November 19, 2006 12:27 AM (GMT)
Both bots. Just one more thing Tom has to fix on MySpace.

Mills McDougle - November 19, 2006 12:28 AM (GMT)
That is mad homo.

bsu - November 19, 2006 12:32 AM (GMT)
Any MySpace account that spams and is a hot & slutty female is a bot.

(Don't get your hopes up!)

No, I KNOW it's probably a bot, but whether it is or not, it sends me a message like once a day. THE SAME ONE. It's annoying as all hell.
