Well, my week has been nothin' short of busy...I DID think about you guys lots though -- just too many assignments to come back for a few days. I'm sure you guys'll take pride in being one of the many things that got me into the National Honor Society!!! I'll be inducted Tuesday and I've been looking for something to wear (another reason for my week long absence) ^^

Yes, my art ventures here DID do me some help as the NHS will provide me with scholarships this time next year. Who'd have thought...So yeah, I was elated when they sent me the lil envelope with my name on it -- you don't know HOW BAD I wanted the scholarships and how I wanted to look good on my college applications. So, w00t for DOAK kickin arse and takin' so many names! I just thought I'd kinda put that out there >.< And tell everybody how much they pwn here.

And, speaking of art ventures, I know the Graphics Team has been thinking about a bunch of little works of art for the forum. I ain't been here to input much because I've joined the Art Club AND I take Art II -- which is pretty much like Pre-AP Art according to my teacher. So don't fret if I'm not here to help with the virtual art ventures -- it's only cause I'm dealing with other art ventures...like this pointalist piece I have to have done by monday morning -.-
Just know, I ain't forgot you guys and I'm already sketchin' a few composition ideas mentally...

I make lots of topics updating on where I've been, so hell, I'm gonna pick this one to keep posting in rather than constantly annoying everybody with topics. My new update -- I have to have surgery. Just listening to the guy tell me the procedure scared me -- it sounds PAINFUL. And I get to miss at least 2 days from school in pain at home...I can't wait >.> (the pain COULD be 3 or 4 days, so im not sure if I wanna even waist time going to school the entire week)

It's actually dental surgery...most people don't hear "dentist" and think surgeon, but, it's true...

if I remember correctly, the procedure goes as follows...
they make an incision...do some drilling through my bone...take out the cysts/abcesses/puss -- whatever it may be...they're gonna actually remove some of my bone to reach a "root" that apparently needs to be cut...they're gonna fill somethin in somewhere and stich me back up...


So, why the bone graft and whatnot? Because my root canals didn't exactly work as planned. This only happens FIVE PERCENT of the time and I have it TWICE at one time >.>
Basically, I either have cysts, abcesses, or puss stuck in my jaw and this is the only way to remove it (I've had penicillin and it did nothing). You can imagine how I'm looking forward to having a surgeon guy knock me out and mess with my jaw -.-

ive been thru a few minor surjuries and i can tell you, without a shadowof a doubt, the worst thing in surjury is the wait. now being that its the dentist and not the hospital (no dental surjuries for me), i am sure that wait wont be the scary thing. just remember, that first minute is the worst minute (it is for real). once that 60 passes and you hit 61, everything will be easy peasy, nice and cheesy
