Wheen, so in light of many school related question/complaints recently, I wanted to make a thread concerning school and its loveliness.
Haha, so I'll start.

The courses that I'm taking this year are:
1. Adv. Biology
2. Physics
3. AP Spanish
4. PreCalculus with Differential Calculus
5. Contemporary Women's Poetry
6. Drawing I

The school I go to is an academically rigorous school. The college destinations of past graduates is here if anyone wants to take a look.
I mean, I'm doing like, four to five hours of HW a night, but I'm not gonna complain just yet, just because I know it's gonna suck even more.

OH! And I have a Biology question-- does ATP or ADP inhibit PFK? Does anyone know?

My classes are:

1. AP Calculus
2. AP Statistics
3. Spanish 4
4. Physics
5. World Lit
6. Study Hall ( :sleep: )
7. Study Hall (Even more :sleep: )

I have 2 study halls cuz seniors have to do a senior research project (see my thread about the videogame violence survey) and theres no class for that so we get a study hall :)

My school is a Charter School specializing in Math and Science, its hard to get into, which means theres tons of smart asians(no offense to asians, I'm just pointing out that they're really smart)

Oh, and when people ask me if I get a lot of homework, I say "Well, its only a lot of homework if you actually DO the homework :) "

I'd be able to handle it better if all of my teachers didn't make ludicrous demands AT THE SAME TIME! It's like they sit down at the meetings and plan their lessons and due dates together >.>

Meeting:

Spanish Lady: "Well, I'm gonna make em do a trifold in groups of 4...and a report...and some masks...and have em bake loaves of bread..."
U.S. Lady: "I was thinking planning writing assignments back to back to back on things we haven't even really talked about yet...and a notebook check! I'll check for frivilous things...like what happened on October 10, 1912! It was nothin, I just like to make em write ^^ OH OH OH! AND A PROJECT!"
Algebra Lady: "...I'm gonna give them about a hundred quadratic equations and tell them its due in 45 minutes...on top of that I'll just shoot through entire chapters like a bat out of hell!"
Art Lady: "...............ummm.....Perspective Quiz perhaps? And I'll tell em to paint their hallway drawings with watercolor...yeah...TWO COLORS ONLY THOUGH! and uhhh...and before they get done with that, we'll do a pumpkin still life for halloween!!!!"
Algebra lady: "...you shouldn't be that fun Art lady >.>"
Art lady: "Actually, it's only super fun if you get into the drawings...they've spent half of the six weeks in the hallways drawing and they're just now painting...otherwise, its boring as H-E-double hockey sticks"
English lady: Well...I was thinking SEVEN quizes on a single novel and THEN a big test on the novel all in the midst of editorial writing and I can slap a few essays in between!"
Chemistry lady: "...the usual busywork...I won't even give them sufficient time to do the assignments either...EVERYTHING IS DUE AT THE END OF THE HOUR DAMN IT!!! ALL TWELEVE ASSIGNMENTS! AND THE PROJECT I ASSIGNED TWO SECONDS AGO!"
Spanish lady: "So...when do you guys wanna make it due? Ummm...the first week of November? Late October?"
English lady: "FINE WITH ME!"


Seriously though...English lady and Art lady and U.S. Lady I'm cool with...I just don't appreciate the work load >.>
(After re-reading this, I noticed my vocabulary o.o w00t for forced novel reading I guess O_O)
