at this point, we are just a huble group..we are not going to look for matches, or start any sort of rivalries with other clans..we are just going to recrute new members, and help each other practice our craft to make this a strong clan. :bow:

as of now, the only rule is that only members of the Forum can join.

This is what I think: Perhaps, they should have to beat each of teh members in the clan, or get enough wins to prove they're a solid player. We're all, at the very least, competent at the game. Saying they have to beat you and you only kinda puts you on a sort of throne.

it would be unfair to have a new recruit have to battle every single current member to hold a spot, especially since we are not all allways online :rofl: so as a fair tradition, they should have to beat me or the co-leader (mills) to be entered. besides, this is open to all forum members, regardless of skill level. with time, we can all help each other get better.

I'll need to build my "creds" before i'm assinged any specified member's name/nametag etc. But just for fun (it'll help me out as a player too), could you guys setup a padoga of somesort? I wanna know if i can hold my own against the other members here when the "online tourney" begins.

That's true, it wouldn't really be too logical for them to have to beat every member of the clan. But I do think it'd probably be better instead for them to prove that they're solid enough to be a member rather than have to beat one of our better members. I can barely beat you or Lei12, but I'm solid enough to give a run for you guys' money every once in a while.

I don't want you guys to feel like I'm forcing my views on your guys. But, I do want this to work out in the end, so I'm gonna tell you guys straight up how I feel about everything that's brought to the table.

blueboy: Just post up in the DoAKumite thread whenever. We can probably get something like that arranged pretty easily.

like i said, this clan has JUST been formed, at this point, this is the way things should be. as the clan grows, things will change, but this is how it should be for now. new recruites should challenge me, and if they cant get passed me, they challenge the next player. right now, we can just have the highest level at A+..and if they cant win, match them up with a lower level member.

I don't like the idea of a personal ranking system too much, honestly. I don't like the idea of classifying the members/potential members like that.

I think that just some regulated casuals would do just fine to see if someone would be a strong addition to the clan. You know, post up in the Kumite thread about when we could do some recruits(or hell, make a thread for recruit sessions), lock up the session to where only members can get in, and just play play play. It'll be obvious enough if they're good enough to be a part of the crew.

I really like that idea. The current recruit system is run like a clan of 10 year old n00bs. BTW, Do I have to use Helena?

no, but i do want us to have atleast one character that we focus on most , as in our master character, but you can use anyone you want, just pick one to represent youre clan

It'll be iBSE. I still want to try Tengu. You get better with practice and i just started with him. He's somethin' else. Helena would probably end up being my main since I'm most comfortable with her. I want to try different characters though.
