A NEW THREAT.. THREATENS OUR TV AIRWAVES!! behold, Thundercats is being taken under WB's wing and being redone.................... wrongly if i might add

WB animation is remaking the Thundercats as an animated TV series.
The animation style is whimsical, Americanized-anime, along the lines of Teen Titans.
The setting is modern-day Earth, in a major city (possibly LA)
The Thundercats are all teenagers.
Their leader is Snarf (!) who is now a mystic with a "third" eye.
Each of the Thundercats has a weapon with an "Eye of Thunderra" and transformative powers (not just Lion-O)
When they aren't fighting evil, the Thundercats play together as a rock band. That's not a typo, or a joke. They are rockin' cats in their present form.
Mum-Ra now has wings.
And I bet he laughs a bit more than he used to =P

you know, i really like the art style for teen titans...but everything else about this post has killed my soul a little bit.

They are really intent on hameruing everything from my childhood up ._.

The teenage angle? -- fine.
Stop letting Lion-O save the day on every episode? -- THANK GOD!
Snarf with a mystic eye? -- I'll even let that one slide by.
Rock band? -- hell no...re-think that kuso >.>
Eyes of Thunderra? -- dang, ya'll made up a BAND and TEENAGE walking kitties, why not make a leg of Thunderra and give it to Cheetara, it ain't like you ain't effed everything else up just with your THOUGHTS of this >.>

...I don't like that whole "OMG LET'S DO IT LIKE TEEN TITANS!!!" idea either...it's a decent art style, but the particular artists in question overuse the anime faces and stuff if you ask me -- not to mention -- I'm tired of seeing people draw in that style...it's just a little overused is all I think (it does work with some stuff...I'm not so sure about this though). I'd like to see somebody do a new cartoon in a re-mastered Batman cartoon kinda way...the whole everything being dark was kinda nice and DIFFERENT >.>
