Two words...short and boring.
1. My grandparents got their vows renewed...that's great and all...but...boring reception (I've always found wedding receptions boring for some reason) and a horrible DJ.
2. Let's face it, I'm a movie whore. I saw one movie this summer. One. And that was only cause my friend decided to celebrate her birthday by goin' out to the movies and stayin' downtown. I been way too broke for movies right now which is the MAIN reason why I haven't invited my friend Erica (or anybody else for that matter) anywhere, cause I can't afford it.
3. I don't see how people manage to have fun in Memphis (without being at some big event with drunk people). People act like downtown is AMAZING like it's the best place to hang out on Earth, and it's not. Just...a sleep over in a random little hotel and a day goin in and out of random malls lookin at stuff I can't buy and ending the night with a movie or two is about the funnest thing I can think to do here.
Libertyland? Forget about it. After goin to Six Flags almost every year since you were little, Libertyland feels like a tiny piece of crap park. (...that the city has decided to close anyways -.-)
Elvis' house? NO! NO NO NO NO NO!!!! Elvis wasn't bad, but no. I live SO close to the house that I could WALK to it and my school was NAMED AFTER IT! It's really pretty at Christmas too ^^
...I've still never been inside of it...yeah, I've been inside of the SHOPS and if you ask me they're too expensive >.>
Jillian's? No. Not cause it ain't fun, but cause the thrill wears off (especially if you were introduced to Dave & Buster's first) and if you're my age you get kicked out at a certain time.
The famous Beale Street? Hell no. Do you know what people do on Beale Street all day? Walk...I'm serious, people freakin' WALK on Beale Street. Sure there are preformers and restaurants to see...but not enough for you to walk on the street all day and comin' home smellin' like sweat on a hot summer night goin "Wow, walkin' on that there street in the hot sun sure does make time fly!" Maybe its just that my views of fun are different from everybody else...cause when you say fun to me...I think about movies, malls, hangin out at people's houses, bein' able to randomly venture without fear of being shot, and no 50 year olds followin' me around the malls talkin' bout some "It makes me feel better if I can see you." AS IF YOU BEIN' THERE KEEPS ME FROM BEIN' SHOT TO DEATH!
4. Because I was SO broke, I didn't get to go out of town this summer...and its kinda a good thing too, cause all of the drama went down in STL (where I stay most of the time I leave) with my family this summer. My aunt got cancer...and cause she was a whore (yeah, she died ._.) she dogged on my side of the family until she was gone even though we were really compassionate about her until we couldn't stand it.

and now, IT'S ALL OVER! I feel like I haven't even DONE anything because...I haven't ._.
Can I get a two year extension on summer? o.o
