Title: What is the fake step good for?

Lei Fang Lover - June 6, 2006 09:39 PM (GMT)
Does anyone have any idea how Jann Lee's fake step is useful? It can evade some attacks but that's all I can think of.

Thanks. :jannlee: :leifang:

Maybe a little distraction and after that you can use the Dragon Step Middle and Dragon Kick.

You know those moments when both of you are on low health and its the last round of the match...

You could try pushing your kick or punch button followed by block straight away like you can in Soul Calibur on the deamcast.

As this will cause you to start the move then block, if your oppenent is dumb enough, they will just stand there waiting for you or something of the sort, then you grab them when they least expect it or kick them in the shin with one of his low moves.

Use that if the fake step or whatever takes too long.

Setups, mang. All of his little fake out tricks are best used when set up, from what I got out of it.

Don't go the scrub route and buffer the Dragon Kick or Dragon Step Middle into it, beucause that's predictable, and slows the match down.

You know most people are looking for you to do that. Something simple could be do the move, then run up and throw. What I learned playing this game is that once you start getting people to fear throws, you can manipulate them to do what you want them to do, granted you're good enough at doing such a thing.

EDIT: Holy hell, this is old.....

Uhh...whoops.
