I am going to watch the movie and i am glad that some one is willingly enough to make a movie about the tragic event that happened, hopefully it will not be to much but i want to see it, i want to enjoy it. And i heard it was good.
What are your takes?

needed.
if people dont wanna see it, dont see it. if they do, see it. and i know those offended by it [they out there] will have a ball with those, so a nice stfu goes to them. i agree, someone should put it out. no one knows what went one on the inside, and that is valuable information. id see it too.... i need 8 bucks first.
and i swore A&E showed it on tv...... im not joking

it's always great to see filmmakers exploiting a national tragedy for monetary gain!
:hmm:

its not money gain if a ton of people see it.... thats just a diffrent story. if a lot of people will see it, thats just a lot of money there. [unless you want pirates to have a field day with the movie....]. they made so the public can know what happened. if people wanna see it, they will.
the same can be said about 'the passion of christ'. it just showed how jesus died in movie format. it wasnt made to make money, yet it made what, 1XX mill cause people saw it.
wiki said it made: US Gross: $370,800,000; Worldwide Gross $610,000,000
if that was sarcasm..... ignore this post >.>

I think the filmmakers are doing this just to visualy tell what happend aboard the plane. Words and descriptions can only say so much, but visuals can help broaden the worded perspective.
I'm not sure if i would go and see this in theaters, i may just wait for the dvd release. Real-life tragedies always have a heavy emotional impact on me.......

Personally, if I think that only the families hurt by these attacks should have a say in its release, then I'd get flamed.
I'm gonna say it anyway. Families that were personally hurt by the attack should have had a very large say in the release of this movie-- but we didn't. So, the American people are just lined up as spectators to a national tragedy, which isn't rare, and I suppose nothing will change it.

Im not sure EXACTLY what it is, it is just showing what it was right? i dont think it is needed, but im not saying its bad, i dont think it should go on theatre just go on TV with those history things i mean when i want to spend money on a mopvie i want to have fun and enjoy, not relive a crisis that hit us. BOTTOM LINE: not needed in theatre but it would be a good documentary

that's what i think too.
it's not as if what will be portrayed in the movie is uncommon knowledge. this story has already been exhausted in other media outlets, and i sincerely doubt that the movie producers have access to some as-of-yet unreleased information that they'll use.
and quite simply, i don't think a movie is an appropriate...stage, as it were...for exploring this issue. a movie implies a certain amount of dramatic license, of glossing over truths for the purpose of entertainment. i don't believe this subject is one that can be handled in such a fashion, at least not now.
i have class in a few minutes so i'll end here. but i will probably be back to rant on this subject later. :p

Before they did anything they asked the families of those that dies and asked for their condolence before filming. :)
i saw the movie and it was spectacular, the movie was 90 mins long when they got on board and everything on that is happening in real time. Planes hit the twin towers, smoke at the capital building. Its on slanted in anyway. It is showing what we would have guess what would have happened and it showed that in a way that it was struggling to watch.
The fight back it self was to much, i even became nervous, sweaty and that scene is too much to watch but you cant stop watching it. The terrorist were acting on their beliefs and it shown even that.
I say that if you want to even to see it even with a doubt, see it, you will not be disappointed.
