If anyone who reads 'Shonen Jump' read the March 2006 issue, they know of this manga. It is called Claymore and is a new manga series out [manga was released in english on April 4, 2006 by Viz Media. So for us it is new].
There are 9 japanese books, and Claymore has been in existance since 2001. [after the author became known in the manga world for winning the 32nd Akatsuka Award for an earlier work].

The art style is very good and the story is fluid. The story is easy to follow and i doubt anyone can get lost. [i should know, i let my cousin read it. Im mean, i know ;)]. The rating is T+ for older teen

The sysnopsis on the back of the manga book:
In a medieval world where monsters called Yoma prey on humans and live among them in disguise, humanity's only hope is a new breed of warrior known as Claymores. Half human, half monster, these silver-eyed slayers possess supernatural strength, but are condemned to fight thier savage impulses or lose thier humanity completly.
