Alright, I'm going to cut to the chase:

This topic is for people who are playing Master Ninja Mode(story version, not the mission) and wanting to share strategies, hints or just a place to let off some steam.

So, I've started the game and barely made it to the first save point, that first level is tough, and as on very hard mode, the "bum" ninjas have more moves and inflict heavy damage, they're better then Ryu is basically.

Now on Master Ninja, these ninjas have flame augmentation and throw exploding shurikens. What really makes this difficult is the fact that Ryu hasn't gotten the flying swallow move, which is aquired after the Dragon Sword has been upgraded to level 2, and it's such a wonderful attack.

Now, if you've beaten Master Ninja, or are farther into the game then I am, or starting it(like me), feel free to post a comment, or a remark.
