So, I'm not sure if someone posted this already but I'll post this for those who've played Ninja Gaiden.

What is your favorite weapon on Ninja Gaiden and why?

For me I like the True Dragon Sword and the Kitetsu.

I like the Kitetsu because it has a few extra moves that the Dragon doesn't have and anytime Ryu is short on health, you can just take it from an enemy, and the best part is, they can't disrupt you while you do it.

I like the True Dragon sword because of it's ultimate attack, looks cool and consumes a lot of power from enemies.

I like both swords commonly because they're fast and they kill bad guys pretty easily.

The Vigorian Flail is good for the Phantom Fish and a few other things.

true dragon sword for dependability, lunar for style. ^^

i'm also fond of the war hammer. i like the..i think it's called six paths spin or something, but the move where you catch one enemy on the end of the hammer and swing it around to hit other enemies. it's pretty sweet. :D

I'll have to try that one of these days, and as for that Windmill Shuriken, it's a very helpful weapon for those ugly worms that look like....................nevermind, I won't go there.

I guess the way to put it, the only weapons that I end up using, even on the hard setting are the Dragon Sword, Kitetsu, Vigoorian Flail and the Windmill Shuriken.

I'm not a big fan of the lunar in particular, it's fast but leaves you open to get hit by enemies too easily.

I like the true Dragon Sword the most, ´cause its... well.... don´t know. Its Ryus weapon and it looks great, has great combos and so on

i love the vigorian flails and the lunar cause they're really fast, especially the vigorian flails. i have soo much fun with them!!! :dancebaby: :dancebaby: :dancebaby:

i also like the Dabilharo. DAMN, that's a weapon.

....well, being the NG Vet. that I am, I would have to say all of them! But I do have my favs, of course ^^



1) True Dragon Sword. The all in one weapon of NG. It's near perfect and is the best weapon in one-on-one fights. Offers great mobility, great evasion and incredible power all in one weapon. Lovely.


2) Vigoorian Flails. The ultimate weapon of skill! If you think you're good at NG, play with these and see how far you get. These are probably THE best weapon in the game. Why? Well, they offer great protection during any combo string, unmatched "weenie" control, are almost broken near walls and, most importantly, are one of the only weapons in the game that can get high hit counts. The higher your hit count for each encounter, the more points you get. Which is vital for insanely high scores. Amazing.


3) Unlabored Flawlessness. THE BOSS KILLER. This thing is great for almost ANY encounter, but it shines in tight time bonus encounters and boss fights. You can take down the Vigoorian emporer in not time with this thing!! The only cath is that you have to be near death. Not a problem if you know what you're doing. To counter this I always use the armlet of the moon to assist my lovely self. ^^


4) Dabilaro. While the Uf is a lot like the Dragon Sword, the Dabilaro is more like its own weapon. This thing is just wonderful. Once you start a combo string....just sit back and enjoy cause nothing is gonna stop you! I love it. ~_^



And that's about it. I would say something about hte others but I don't really use them that often. I find the Lunar to be a little on the weak side of things but it's okay. It's kinda like the love child of the Flails and the Dragons Sword. It's good for both 1vs1 and "weenie" control.

He has certain weapons. He has (sorry if this list isnt right exactly ;) ) the Dragon Sword, the Nunchaku, the Wooden Sword, the Nunchaku, the Vigoorian Flails, the Kitetsu, the Dabilahro, the War Hammer, the True Dragon Sword, the Unlabored Flawlessness, the Lunar (HP and NGB only), the Dark Dragon Blade, the Plasma Saber (and the MK II version). I think thats all the melee weapons.
