Thanks for the two-day old ''news.'' There's nothing wrong with the Xbox 360, it's just you have a few chronic complainers whining about their 360s that they dropped.
How can you be so sure about that?

Agreed, most of the defects are people who pre-ordered or won the every10minutes contest.
By the time for the Europe launch, itl be over. Same for Japan.
i wouldn't go so far as to say that the majority of people with defective xbox360s were caused by negiligence, but at the same time, this issue is one that has plauged nearly every system launch since the ps2.
for a number of reasons, launch consoles have higher defect rates than later batches. and because launches are such a big event, especially during the christmas shopping season, the problem, which proportionally is usually small, is exaggerated.
it's possible that there might be a serious manufacturing defect with the first set of xbox360s, but that will be difficult to discover until a few more weeks.
it's also likely that similar problems will be reported in the european and japanese launches. i really doubt that microsoft will be able to squash out all of the bugs in the american launch in time for the impending releases overseas, especially since they've probably manufactured a large number of consoles for those regions already.
