Damn ..... GOLDEN BOY was the funniest thing ive ever seen...... but too bad its only 6 measly episodes long.... and that sux!!!!!

any other funny anime` u can recommend... cuz im getting tired of Mecha (Gundam), Samurais (Ninja Scroll, RK), and other Elemental/Supernatural stuff (El HAzard, Lodoss War) and specialy.... TOYS that are ALIVE (Beyblade crap and crushgear... heck they even include a YOYO!!) ....

i currently like the ones that is more likely to happen in reality....lol and damn funny to ,,,, ie. SlamDunk, GTO, Chobits, Tennis No Ohjisama, Golden Boy, etc...

Actually, Inuyasha isn't all that bad. The only problem I have with it is that it slowly turned into a story where the main character get's an ultimate ability that pretty much give's 'em the edge. Like most action anime, unfortunately. Beyblade is a very good example. :hmm:

I also realy liked G Gundam, but found it to be quite insane at time's! it was kinda' like Gundam meets Loony Toons! Still very good though. Yah gotta' love Shadow Gundam.

I think Wing Gundam is by far the best Gundam series ever! It was just so damn cool all the time, I couldn't say no to it.

I also kinda like Bebop. The character's are interesting and the story is good. Trigun on the other hand can go straight to ###### for all I care. I can't stand that... show. >_<

Yep i too never really liked trigun.... (well the show was localized into our own language w/c made it crap, maybe thats why i lost my interests in it).... but fortunately the localization fad was over... those TV station who localized went to H#ll.....

well ive encountered while i was shopping for games a Gundam S (Seed) DVD.... in the box was a pretty amazing mech design.... even better than the GW.... but is it any good?? i mean the plot??.....

Lupin III was good too.. if you could overlook on the visuals...

Flame of Recca was too short.... i want more..

Well.... so far it's movin' along pretty well. I've only seen about two or so episode's so I still don't realy know what's going on. But the story so far is that a war between earth and space is going on again, and a neutral colony is, unknown to them, in possession of 5 secret mech's ( Sound familiar? ). The enemy "Zaft" come's along and steals 4 of the mech's. Leaving The last one to fight the rest of the enemy. mech design's are pretty good, but again their being piloted by children!! It's still pretty good though.


I would also like to add on My other favorite anime.

Cowboy Bebop. Sorry, that show is just too good. Well it is if you watch the Japanese version of course... dubs are VERY, VERY poor...

If there's one series almost as good as CB than it's gotta be Naruto. Awesome series... awesome characters, awesome animation, awesome story, awesome action... Phew... too much, simply too much... I just got into 100 Stories as well. It's very... abstract... but it's a very worthy watch.

I always watched the cartoon Sailormoon and for anime I would say Street Fighter the animated movie and Golden boy, that was one funny anime. And I still want to see Toshinden the anime

I like a lot of classic anime (from the 70's and 80's) that many people may not know or may not have seen. These include Ashita no Joe, Yamato, Macross (original), Ideon, Original Gundam, Versailles no Bara, Brother Dear Brother. Actually, I recently got into classic anime so there are many I have not seen yet. Sometimes I wish the animation were better but all in all, these shows are quite good and in my opinion they are better than most of the newer shows that I've seen.

I admit I have seen almost nothing that's been made in the last few years...but some shows I got to like when I used to watch a lot of anime include:

Evangelion-WHOA, one of my all-time favorites. Has fun elements and dark elements, emotional, puzzling, and metaphysical. Takes a lot of elements from older anime to create a masterpiece.

Berserk-WHOA, another of my all time favorites. Violent, passionate, cool, dark, yes....this show is great. Also, interesting psychological elements, twisted personal relationships, and did I mention dark and violent! Oh yeah and Susumu Hirasawa did the soundtrack- he's one of my favorite musicians.

Lain- acid trip...but it's saturated with philosophical musings and interesting ideas (reminds me of evangelion).

Please Save My Earth- I really liked this story. I found this show very moving.

Akira- WHOA....and the manga is even better. Excellent soundtrack too.

Perfect Blue- Satoshi Kon movies I always like. This one's a bit demented and hard to understand completely (which I like).

Millenium Actress (well, this one is pretty new)- the ending made this movie one of my favorites. Also, Susumu Hirasawa does the music.

Rurouni Kenshin-this show entertained me until the Shishio saga ended. I loved all the really good fighters like Aoshi, Shishio, Kenshin (especially Battousai version), Kenshin's master and Kenshin's old rival (forgot their names!)...cool guys.

There are some newer shows I'd like to see eventually...

And I like hentai. I like La Blue Girl, Legend of the Overfiend, Countdown, Cream Lemon...(I hope this doesn't offend anyone).

Hajime Saito - Old Rival from the end of the Takugawa Era and the beginning of the Meiji Government ala Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal.

Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X - Younger Kenshin is cooler with that blue and white kimono... *Swoons*
Cowboy Bebop - Vicious is h0t stuff ^^ Spike is sexy in his own way. Ein is a cute dog :-p
Berserk - Gatsu/Guts is cool.
Sailor Moon - Sailor Neptune and Sailor Jupiter rule the world... 'nuff said.

Are you reading the manga as well? I finished the anime a while ago but I haven't started reading the manga yet due to financial constraints. I have the Japanese manga books 1-21 and I'm thinking of selling them to buy the english ones 'cause I can't read Japanese (I got them a long time ago, before the english manga was released :pinch: )

I haven't read the mangas :( I only watched the anime :-p You're welcome on the RK help.

haha I just stumbled upon the anime section...
oh geeze, its sad to have to admit to being a hardcore anime fan...

My favorite Anime Is: Dirty Pair Flash, despite its awful title (its not a perv movie or anything :D ) But its really, really funny, and the first season had an amazing story. But the second was pretty good to, then when they reached the third... well lets just say there weren't anymore pisodes after that :D
Also the original (80s version) was pretty good to.

Liquid, I saw the first episode of Gravi in Newtype. BLEH! The manga is much better.
