I'm sure a lot of people watch this show(or have watched it). So for people who have the DVD and have listened to the commentary(or for people who feel like speculating), what do you think FLCL is? (My friend think it's 'climaxing', but I don't know. LOL)

Its Fooly Cooly. Its a wierd anime that only has 6 episodes in total. They showed it on Adult Swim on Cartoon network.

No, no, no. I know what the show is; I watch it all the time. LOL What I want to know is, what is the meaning of it? The question is brought up in the last ep, but it's never directly stated. And on the director commentary on the DVDs, he(the director) was extremely dodgy and never told anyone what it meant. So, it's up for speculation. What does FLCL mean? That's what I meant. :D

The title Is fooly cooly (FLCL,Fuli culi,Furi kuri) because Naota wants to be "cool"(cooly) but he's just a "fool"(fooly).

Cool, in the link I´ve seen that the anime ist from the Gainax production, the same that did Neon Genesis Evangelion. I love this anime. Maybe I will watch KLCL too because of that

Never heard of KLCL, but I got the soundtraks for FLCL and it rocks.

If you watch the show as funny as it is lol you will hear em going i want to get fooly cooly with her and so its like as if it means to have sex which by the looks of most scenes everybody gets (u don't see nothing). Good anime you'll laugh for most of it the last episode was to serious but anyways go the think ibrows :P

FLCL, you haven't heard of it before? Well, it's really confusing. And the show doesn't make that much sense. It's about a boy who goes to elementry school and gets ran over by an alien girl, named Haruko. After getting ran over, she hits him on the head with an electric gituar. Things come out of his head and the lump forms strange shapes. He has to wear hats to school so nobody would notice. This High School girl who smokes, named Mamimi, hits on him and so does Haruko. Sorry if this doesn't make any sense to you, I'm sorry! Okay, here's a simple way of discribing it, FLCL is wierd. OH--WAIT YOU"RE ASKING WHAT FLCL MEANS! My apology :oops: ... FLCL... My best friend is a big fan of this show, I should ask her... I"M SOO CONFUSED NOW!
