Title: iPod Help?
Description: ;_;
Luminous_Daybreak - September 12, 2005 09:50 PM (GMT)
My iPod just died on me. ;_;
I was wondering if anyone could help me out, because this is my BABY. I can't live without it. It's turning on, because I can hear clicking when I hit the click wheel, but there's no display or sound. AIEE. And then, I tried restoring it, but it froze my computer.
Can someone please, please help me?

Should have bought a Zen Touch. ;).
It's most likely your battery. I would call Apple and see what they can do to help the situation.
By the way, what gen is it?

It's a 40 GB iPod with a click wheel, so it's the latest model. It's actually not the battery, it's the hardrive. That's what I've read online about the FAQ. (I couldn't get a Zen Touch, my school requires an iPod, so, that was my mp3 player of choice.)
;_;
"How do I live, without you..." ;_; (LeAnn was on there too. ;_;)

Off topic, buy why do they require an iPod?

It's for language classes. XD. My school's just a show-off, so it's not really used. XD. But, that changes this year because we all get iTalk, where we start to use the iPod to record commentaries. BUT I WON'T BE ABLE TO DO THAT. ;_;
This is so damn saddening. ;_;
http://macdailynews.com/index.php/weblog/comments/4433There's an article that was featured in the NYT (New York Times) Dec '04 concerning our school and iPods. XD.

what a shame lumi...
IMO, maybe HDD damaged. When I connect several damaged HDD to my comp. Some of them froze Windows. You'd better to ask Apple about warranty and repair data. but..They would say they can't restore your data.
horrible, but it's possible. It's a HDD. and this is why I ordered iPod nano.(2/4GB frash memory)
You'd better to have spair data anytime and do not believe HDD equipments' life untill new gen crash free HDD come.
anyway, I really pray somebody would restore your datas... :(
