Title: What's your phobia?

Manwë_Varda - August 31, 2005 09:57 PM (GMT)
I am very afraid of spiders and of all of the insects generally.
Yesterday my brother woke me to show me a spider on his rooms door, she was enormous, it was hideous :yucky: :yucky: with his big and hairy legs :yucky:
I'm afraid of spider even if they are crushed!
I'm also afraid of frêlons, wasps, phasmes, praying mantis, ... and I forgot a lot :heh heh:

Dan - August 31, 2005 09:58 PM (GMT)
Nothing that is as extreme to be a phobia nope.

Xabinator - August 31, 2005 09:59 PM (GMT)
Ah yes, you and I share the same phobia. I dunno, something about insects repulse me. I remember I used to run away from BUTTERFLIES as a kid. Not anymore though. My phobia isn't as strong as it used to be.

Queen Helena - August 31, 2005 10:02 PM (GMT)
I don't really know if it's a phobia but I'm scared to death of flying

Dark Rabbit 87 - August 31, 2005 10:48 PM (GMT)
I pretty much have a phobia for extreme heights. I get a little nervous when I'm going up at least 3 or 4 stories in a glass elevators where I see just about everything.

kasumipink - August 31, 2005 10:55 PM (GMT)
Same here, when I look down and look at the whole veiw, I back away from the glass and close my eyes shut. I still feel dizzy whenever the elevator goes up or down and My legs start to shake.

I sometimes still feel the effects of the elevator going up a little more and then going down to stop at the desired floor.

Yup, i hate spiders too, it's because they look so unnatural and you never hear them, and never notice them until they're close to you. :yucky:

Mills McDougle - September 1, 2005 03:48 AM (GMT)

Random victim....of Robbery, but i survived and managed to take down 2 before getting screwed. I admit i wasn't really ready. My master said it was alright, because things like these can happen. I just have to be more alert next time. Luminous, bsu, Mysteious Duelist and some of them can fill u in as well. I was chatting to them on my laptop in the hospital while i was recovering during that time.... :pinch:

@Engraver: stabbed??? Damn, it's horrible! I'm glad that you go better!

HelenaKicksAss - September 2, 2005 04:50 AM (GMT)
goddammit, it's 7 am and one of those 8-legged beasts is / was on my ceiling.

how can i even dare to sleep now? T_T

Luminous_Daybreak - September 2, 2005 04:54 AM (GMT)
Your lack of sleep will delude you and make the eight legged beast become a huggly-wuggly care bear. Or two melatonin pills.

M_V- No, it's actually a real phobia. I'm not scared of anything else. I've been confronted with a rattlesnake, I didn't freak out. DAMN LADYBUGS SCARE THE CRAP OUT OF ME. I was eating lunch with my friends when we went up to Bear Mountain where they have a crapload of ladybugs, and they swear that it was the most they've ever seen me freak out.
God, it was scary.

yep, i know ppl who are - whysoever - scared of butterflies.

*takes the pills over the huggly wuggly thing - tough decision though*

Luminous_Daybreak - September 2, 2005 05:03 AM (GMT)
Actually, butterflies can be quite terrifying. Heading over to the butterfly conservatory a few months ago in the Museum of Natural History (if you're ever in NYC anyone, that is by far the best museum to go to. Rose Planetarium's in it. Check that out too.) A butterfly landed on my finger ( I had just eaten a Zone bar) and was FEEDING from the sugar.
I was DEATHLY afraid. Man. Then this kind young man asked if I had eaten anything sweet. Then, it all made sense.

(Good choice, HKA. Tough as it was.)

HelenaKicksAss - September 2, 2005 05:07 AM (GMT)
oh and i'm kinda afraid of dogs.
not all dogs - i love my brother's dog and my best friend's dog - but others are just so hideous and loud and aggressive.

i dunno why, but i can't seem to find out what those animals think.

it may be due to an incident far back in my childhood where one of those carpet-rats bit in me in my precious knees. (that type of dog wearing a RIBBON (!!!!!) on their heads because their owners think it's cute.evil little things)
dunno why it did that though.

Luminous_Daybreak - September 2, 2005 05:10 AM (GMT)
Carpet rats? CARPET RATS? You've got extremely uniquie names for animals, I swear.
Stray dogs are scary. My sister was bit by one when she was learning to ride a bike, and she got an infection.

HelenaKicksAss - September 2, 2005 05:12 AM (GMT)
carpet-rat: n, pl: s

handbag sized dogs also known as yorkshire-terrier (well that's what they are called here). those things are vicious. :pinch:
