NOTE:I'm new and this is my first topic, so promise me you guys, don't get mad at me if I'm doing this wrong.

I heard rumors about a Dead or Alive movie and saw pictures of actors for each characters. I'd rather see the movie in CGI animation like the Final Fantasy movies, does anybody agree/disagree?

Dont worry, no one will be mad at you for getting a thread wrong or anything. Well.... Only if you really screw it up by breaking a rule or such.

But I think most people here agree with you that it should be CGI.
There was a topic about it a long time ago here and most people said it should be Cgi. To bad it's going to be with real actors, the movie if totally suck.

I've seen the actors portraying the DOA characters, the only one that looks remotely close to the actual character is the one playing Kasumi. It happens to be the Japanese ninja girl from Sin City, so that gives you an idea of what you're in for. The girl playing Ayane, looks nothing like her, well, none of the cast does.
This movie should have been done CG (as stated earlier) the CG on NG was fine, almost life like, maybe if they improve on that even more, get a team of writers, it would be a kick cable cord movie.
Another thing that I'd like to see is a Ninja Gaiden movie, also done in CG, have it like Batman Begins at the start there. Oh, I could go on forever about this, so I'll stop now.

Doom is gonna pwn this movie SO hard...

I have to agree with you on that, I only seen opne trailer and a few amount of pictures and think it will be good. But I really want to see Max Payne.

This Doom movie looks good, and I haven't even seen a trailer yet, just promo posters.
That DOA movie will be terrible, probably as bad as Mortal Kombat Annilation, but that movie is fun to watch though, I don't want to admit it. It's kind of a guilty pleasure.
The thing that bothers me about this DOA movie, is hollywood is going to saturate it with bad acting, lame fight scenes and terrible dialog. The story should be told by the Japanese because that's where the game was made. Lastly, the CG is good enough, even if it was direct to DVD, I'd buy it without seeing it.
Even better, just got an idea, they should make an anime movie of it, like the Inuyasha movies (that's one anime I'm familiar with, which is why they're used as a reference) that would be good. they did that with Fatal Fury and Darkstalkers.

CGI would be FTW!!! its been said before...

I read in the Hearlad Sun (Australian) newpaper on Saturday page three Holly Valance said that The Women are the Heros and Strong Ones abd it rated well with young females.
