Title: Last Album You Purchased?

Serenity Now - July 19, 2005 04:32 PM (GMT)
After you buy a CD, post here to tell people what you have bought. You can leave impressions as well if you wish.

Picked up these yesterday:

For my dad's 54th birthday (yesterday), my older brother bought this for him (no joke!)

This guy is hilarious! If you don't know who he is, he's the guy who plays Zed in Police Academy

Garbage- Bleed Like Me
Weezer- Make Believe

I recently purchased these CD's. They are both just mediocre in my opinion.

BoA - Girls on Top (5th Korean album) and her japanese single Do the Motion. She's grown so much. :] Great dance album (some of her ballads are dogpoo though).

Ah, man, Weezer's CD sucked? I wouldn't have minded getting his CD... :(

The Pillows - Penalty Life

It's not as good as any of the FLCL soundtracks they've done, but the CD's not bad at all. Just not really up to my expectations for them. There's only a few tracks that I go back and listen to, so I'll end up listening to it through again. Still glad I bought it, though. :)

This one's really good.
Not for listening to all the time, cause then it gets rather annoying, but for listening here and there it's really ok.
All your metalcore needs satisfied. guaranteed.

and this one...

Mushroomhead - XIII

As always scary good style-mixes by Mushroomhead.
Not as good as the last album 'XX' but it's still better than 98% of all other CDs available on this planet.

I ordered Ayumi Hamasaki's "fairlyand" single too! I'm still waiting for it to arrive though.

JWBB - August 11, 2005 05:33 PM (GMT)
I recently bought Ayumi Hamasaki's Countdown 2004--2005 DVD and also an Ayumi shirt! :) Can't wait until they arrive! eBay isn't so bad once you are used to it.

Serenity Now - August 18, 2005 01:38 AM (GMT)
Just picked up The Killers - Hot Fuss LE. I've been meaning to pick up Hot Fuss for a while now, but I'm glad I waited. The LE comes with a few tracks (three) never released in the US, and I got it on sale for around nine dollars. Good deal.

You will all hate me:

Mariah Carey - The Emancipation of Mimi

and liking it. it's great she recovered. she can sing, but she is a diva i know, but i like her for her music not for her character.

Just bought the Texhnolyze OST - Music Only Music But Music. Great CD. I didn't really like it at first, but I've really grown onto it. It's also grown a newfound interest in Gackt, since his one track on the CD is so good. Hell, it may even be something bsu will like! :D

The album I just bought came out in 1999 -- afterwards the group broke up.

Xbox/1! XD XD XD. I just bought Affirmation too! I broke the other one by mistake. Snapped in half.
ANYWAY, my favorite song on that album is Affirmation. I love how I'm not ashamed saying this. XD.

That's my favorite song on it too. I'm kind of surprised it wasn't a hit.

I feel like it was too liberal for our oh-so-conservative country. But then again, we've got no problem with having 17 year olds parading around in thongs, barely covered.

Animal Song's a really good one too.

Agreed.

''I believe you can't control or choose your sexuality''

Without that line it would have been a hit.

The Animal Song is one of my favorites as well. Two Beds and a Coffee Machine and You Can Still Be Free are pretty good too.

Luminous_Daybreak - September 14, 2005 10:51 PM (GMT)
I'm glad that we are in concurrence. (XD I just made that up.)

Of course indeed. I personally would never buy an edited CD. However, I don't have any CDs that would need to be edited, mainly because I don't listen to rap. I have to admit though, Gold Digger on that CD is extremely catchy.

true, true, rap has bad words..but some unedited cds have extra tracks that the edited ones dont have. stuff like that is another reason why i only buy unedited cds
>.> not like the lady at the register ever asked for my age on some cds when i was younger anyway....
