Ninja Gaiden Ships Half A Million

More than half a million copies of Ninja Gaiden for Xbox have shipped to retailers in North America, Tecmo announced today. Team Ninja's latest action game broke through that mark about three weeks since its March 2 release.
Tecmo's announcement offered less specific comment on Ninja Gaiden's success in its home country. While it's been available in Japan since March 11, Tecmo would only say that sales in Japan have been "favorable."

Once this month concludes, of course, it will be interesting to see how Ninja Gaiden stacks up against March's other major Xbox release, Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow. Look forward to more news next month.
