Title: Nintendo DS
Description: Is it better than the PSP?

SimonSamoorye - April 10, 2005 06:52 PM (GMT)
My mates little brother got the Nintendo DS. I tried it out and it's quite amazing, it's like a hand held N64!!!

But I have to know before I buy the DS, is it better than the PSP? Is so or if not, why?

smiles - April 10, 2005 07:49 PM (GMT)

SimonSamoorye - April 10, 2005 08:19 PM (GMT)

Hell. Yes.

Though, the DS is a great Handheld, the Psp is way better. Like smiles said, Graphics, Music, Movies, Wireless battles, and you can upload things from your computer to your PsP. The psp is a way better choice.
Oh yeah, forgot to add that it has a way better choice of games.

It depends on what kind of games you like. I like the PSP better though, but the DS is a great handheld. Animal Crossing is going to be great. It will be online too..

SimonSamoorye - April 10, 2005 08:52 PM (GMT)
Animal Crossing? :hmm:

Has anybody said that the PSP is okay to touch? I think not! DS is the way to go

smiles - April 10, 2005 09:48 PM (GMT)
i hav a shirt from e3 thats says see it. touch it. play it. all my friends think im sick

I love them both. If you want innovation, go for the DS. If you want the most technologically advanced handheld system, get a PSP.

Being a Nintendo fan boy, I slightly prefer the DS over the PSP. However, both are amazing.

animal crossing is a great game. sadly its only 1 player

The PSP is almost godlike in terms of portable consoles/handhelds. This makes it rather expensive as well. But I think, hey, if you pay that much money for an iPod when you can get a gaming system, movie player, music player, wireless communication all in one, why the hell not, yeah?

The one coming out for Nintendo DS has online multiplayer.

Well it has two screens, one normal screen and a touchscreen but nothing special apart from that. I never heard about mp3 or video support but mp3 could be possible. I have to look in the manual

The Dual-Screen doesn't really impress me, I mean, two GB Advance screens on one handheld, It's a bit extra...I prefer the widescreen PSP.

Good game, but Nintendo never fail to re-issue it over and over, after a while it gets boring. :hmm:
