They will in fact have a movie based off the game. Kristanna Loken will assume the role of the half-human, half-vampire vixen BloodRayne.

Well I watched the trailer and it seems pretty good except maybe she could have had a darker outfit and maybe some sharper fangs and some emerald green eyes. But other than that, it's as good as watching Blade

Hmm... Can I say Final Fantasy Spirits within? It didn't really relate to the game, but that Ebert guy gave it two thumbs up. And how about Resident Evil? I like the first movie, but Apocalypse, I didn't like. They Added Jill Valentine, but they already began with a made up character in the first movie? They should've made the movie with characters from the game as main characters or don't have any game characters at all.

Resi Evil sucked aswell. And FF: Spirts Within, c'mon, there's not even any chocobos in it!

#1-video games can't become movies(animes okay)

I think the problem is they either choose a game with not much of a gripping plot or they just change up the actual plot because they feel it isn't suitable.
It's all down to hype, Street Fighter, Tomb Raider and Resident Evil are very popular games, so they think it'll be a popular movie...
