Title: Blade of the immortel

I'm currently reading "Mugen no Junin" ("Blade of the immortal" in english or "L'habitant de l'infini" for the rare francophile)
It's the story of Manji, a samouraï fallen (?) who is immortal thanks to a wormcalled the "Kessentchu" which cured all its wounds. He takes advantage of it then to rip his enemies in pieces (some scene are very gore ----> my "morbid side" ). But this immortality is not in fact a present and for die, he must kill 1000 bad men. It's why he accept to help Linn who want avenge his parents.
Anyone know this manga?

Yeah, bloody great comic. I have a couple of the books, The Gathering parts 1 & 2. The drawings in this comics are quite extarordinary, aswell as the plot which kept me reading. I did want to buy the next books (and all the ones before The Gathering) but I dunno I guess I got sidetracked. I need to catch up!

Esa trama me recuerda a una serie norteamericana llamada "Highlander el inmortal"

Ooohh please, don't speak spanish!
It's already rather difficult with English for some :hmm:
At the moment I only read 1 and 2. I know that there is 7 or 8 there but the series is not still finished.
I like the drawing but it's a little bit vague notament in the violent scenes. It's difficult to understand who massacres who.
And in french, the translation is catastrophic. The images are put in the occidental direction of reading but not bubbles! And texts are often in the bad bubbles thus we don't still know who speaks. :pinch:
