When I first played Ninja Gaiden it was hard but it gets alot easier.
But unfortunately I decided I'd try playing the Hurricane Pack II...

Ninja Gaiden (XBOX) was one of the hardest games that a play, but
i find more hard the classic games NG 1, 2 and 3. i haven´t beat one
of these.

Yeah, it does get easer once you get farther up, but this does not include the Ch. 7 boss Alma

What I don't understand is that I had 7 Life Elixers, then I saved, loaded and I had 1! That wasn't fair, it was right before a boss fight. Is this normal or a glitch?

I tried to complete Ninja Gaiden in a night since I borrowed it from a mate, boy was that a long night.... :shocked:

You must be a hardened pro even to complete it in a night solid! How did you cope with Alma?

i stuck on chapter 5 still lol at that stupid draw bridge and those glowing cracked doors o wells lol my wooden sword and nunchakanu's (thats what i call em) are fun to juggle people with i got heaps of money from this area to i go like max ungrades i can get so far plus like 30 000 money :P

I didn't complete it but I tried. Remind me, is Alma that pink thingy?

:shocked: 7 days? That's pretty long. I defeated Murai on my first try. The same with Alma, who is supposedly the toughest boss in the game. The most trouble I had with a boss was the horse man on the bridge, and he was only the second boss! It took me like thirty tries to get him down!

thats the same for me i went in with no elixer or anything and i had next to nothing life and it took me for ever, i haven't fought alma yet only at chapter 6 now :P but i am working on it, hopefully she won't put up a big fight but yeah the ponly boss i have had troubles with is the horse guy, and the stupid ninjas that u dun see that throw things at you i die coz of those to

chapter 7 is stupid why on earth would u have a row of swinging balls then in the next room have one that flys??? whats the go with that? i just spent 1 hour trying to get past the one that chases youand on top of that thingys shoot u grrr and now there is a boss wanna be beffore a save :pinch: why me why why lol

I don't remember the flying balls, unless you mean the large flying insects thats sting you. Anyhows, I've completed it twice now. It took me a while first time, but I actually find it easy now. I've completed it on normal and hard. All that is left is very hard...

And BTW, for some reason I find Alma really easy now, and her second form more difficult. Why? All the bosses people say are hard (i.e. Alma, Spirit Doku, Flame Dragon) I find easy. All the bosses people say are easy (apart from Tentacle Beast, he is easy) I find difficult.

The only time I had extreme difficulty getting past was the 2 Electric Worms, they were really hard. Why is Murai so easy in Chapter 16? I would have thought he'd be more difficult than the Emperor.

The emperor was easy, all i had to do was trow projectiles to him until he died, and yep , i had the all filled up.

I myself beat the game quite easily. That was on normal, of course. Hard was anoying but funner....er. lol. Very hard was quite interesting. I found that enemies actually had differe4nt life bars sometimes, and they wouldn't always get killed by my wonderful extinction slash. So I really had to come up with a bunch of ways to kill everything. Essentially, once you get the yellow armlet, keep it on at all times. Except during boss battles and really tough enemies. Lots of money means lots of points. Use the money to get the Unlabored Flawlessness early in the game and have yourself a fun time from there. Of course, I don't use the UF that much. I mainly use the dragon sword.


Also, the first form of Alma isn't THAT hard. The perfect weapon to kill her with is the dragon sword. Use your flying swallow just when she's about to use one of her abilities, then send her into the air with 6XY. Then finish it with a blade of niirti. Use either art of the inferno or another flying swallow when she does her magic grab thing, that's the best time to knock her down.

And Doku's second form can easily be taken out with the Unlabored Flawlessness. Avoid hit attacks then send him into the air while he's recovering. You'll be done in like two minutes. I think you can also do this with the dragon sword as well, but I can't remember.


Long story short, it's not THAT hard once you learn how to kill everything. It's the time bonuses that get you ticked off. Everything I just said above will also work with time bonuses as well. ^^

Not meaning to brag or anything, but I found this game wasn't that hard. My first time playing i beat the game in 6hrs 35 min. Right now my record is 3hrs 25 min on normal
