Have any of you guys heard of Samurai Champloo? I saw it for sale on Animenation and it looks pretty cool. Anyone know if it's better than Noir and Hellsing?

I think Noir is the one for me. If it's as good or better than Eva, then Noir's a definite purchase...

EVA is still the best :dancebaby:

I would suggest: Noir, Hellsing, Gun Smith Cats, Cowboy Debop

Noir: Vol 1 DVD is on the post!

I recommend Shin Sekai Evangelion, but I wouldn't say that it's really an action series. It's very symbolic so if you want to be able to enjoy something at more of a surface level then go with something else. I have all of Noir on DVD, and I liked it. The problem is that there are a lot of filler episodes in the first half of the series. Bubblegum Crisis is excellent for an action series. On thing to consider would be buying the original Bubblegum Crisis instead of Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. The new series is good, but the original is a true classic. One last thing to note is that Anime Nation isn't the cheapest place to buy anime. I use Anime One Stop. Check out the price difference on the original Bubblegum Crisis boxset.

You will also have the option of free shipping with Anime One Stop, making it an even better deal.

You're right! Animenation is bloody expensive! But I just used it for reference, I actually bought the dvd from Amazon for £11.

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind looks interesting...has anyone seen it? If so, whaddya think of it?

l33t_ninja_thug - March 18, 2005 08:00 PM (GMT)
