Doom 3 was okay but I'm hoping this expansion will make it better. Supposedly coming out on April 4th.

I like them both for different reasons.

I never got to play Doom 3. I want to but I hear it's not that great. I still like the original Doom series. That series is what started me in the FPS Genre.

People don't like the fact that the game play is so simple. But, it promised to scare the hell out of you, and that's exactly what it does. And the production values are great as well.

Hmm, I found Doom 3's frights disappointing. The game was good though. I'll wait for Xbox release.

Well in this expansion, you get to use demonic powers and go through "Hell Time" (everybody's using "Bullet Time") and get easier head shots and go through doors and ceilings that can smash you. The Soul Cube has been replaced by the weapon that gives you this cool ability

Confirmed, I saw this as pre-order only in my local Game store. The assistant says the BBFC tried to ban it (!) because it was a lot more violent than the original.

u hate shooters including halo and doom

i found the game a little dissapointing in the fact that it was too easy even on the hardest setting.
