Title: Numa Numa song!
Dark Rabbit 87 - February 23, 2005 02:21 AM (GMT)
This song is so addictive! I have the original as well as a couple remixes of it. Oh yeah, it's called "Dragostea Din Tei" by a group called O-Zone
Runaway_Shinobi - February 23, 2005 09:24 AM (GMT)
 Numa Numa song??
You probably won´t believe it but this song was number one in german charts for almost one year!!!!!!!!!! Everyone in Germany is annoyed by this song because it was played 24 hours a day
O Zone already has another song called Despre Tine by the way

Yep. I looked this song up on Kazaa, downloaded it and also found a couple of remixes in the process

Where can i DL it.
Since that dqay that song has been in my head!
Darkfox101 - February 26, 2005 12:41 AM (GMT)
You need a file sharing program to do it. You can't download it from a site.
Dark Rabbit 87 - February 26, 2005 01:42 AM (GMT)
And it's too bad if you're not a fan of file-sharing. I dunno if the album is anywhere here in the US.
Darkfox101 - February 26, 2005 03:38 AM (GMT)
I don't think it is. :hmm:

http://www.catteacorner.com/dragosteadintei.htmHere's the lyrics to it. Boy does the English translation throw the rhythm off....
Also, it's been performed by 2 bands. Haiducii (The Outlaws) and O-Zone.
Runaway_Shinobi - February 26, 2005 08:25 AM (GMT)
I have the song so I can give you the download of "Numa Numa" by O-zone.

Wow, I had this song Easter 04 and it's still a high-chart record?! That's pretty remarkable. I still listen to it--it's on my Xbox.
I saw the lyrics before, the English music video had the English translation at the bottom. BTW, if anyone wants the music video, I'm in the process of getting a download link as I have it on my comp. :)

Luminous_Daybreak - February 26, 2005 11:24 PM (GMT)
Seems like it hit Europe before it got us here.
How do you classify it? I was thinking a trance/eurodance mix. Anyone think otherwise?
Runaway_Shinobi - February 27, 2005 12:20 PM (GMT)
I´d say europop. I know that Haiduchi covered the song "Dragosteia Din Tei" but it was not as popular as the original by O-zone. The Haiduchi version was more electronic but I would also classify it as pop
found this image of O-zone for the guys that don´t know them
Manwë_Varda - February 27, 2005 03:38 PM (GMT)
They have at least the merite to sing in their own language and not in English
Luminous_Daybreak - February 27, 2005 06:36 PM (GMT)
That's quite a picture, R_S.
(IS THAT LEATHER I SEE?)
Runaway_Shinobi - February 28, 2005 08:12 AM (GMT)
I think so. Has anyone seen their videoclip "Dragostei Din Tei" where they three guys are dancing on a flying plane? They all have opened shirts, white trousers and sunglasses on :)
Dark Rabbit 87 - March 4, 2005 03:09 AM (GMT)
What's funny is that the guy who was dancing is on MySpace
