I saw this in the theater and now I own it. This movie is incredible! And the way it plays out is just..... terrific! ^^
I think this would have to be one of Johnny's best role's! He's so good in this, and the ending is to die for! I just can't stop watching it, it's that good. You really should rent this one, after that.... buy it lol
I'm serious....

Whee, I hate to be the Devil's Advocate(<--see, that was a good movie), but I hated this movie. I think the perception was that this movie was supposed to make you contemplate by having such a surprise ending. I, however (as cruel as it may be) was expecting the ending completely.
Depp, however, played one of his BEST roles in this movie. I just think that the script/plot was flawed.

The movie deals with the writer Mort in a bad phase. One day a man named John Shooter appears in front of his house and suggests that Mort has stolen his script. When Mort doesn´t give him the script back it will have consequences. The man leaves and in the next few days trange things happen, Morts cat is murdered, his divorced wife gets almost burned down in her own house etc.
