Okay I just watched it.
Hmm....compared to the "FMVs" of Tekken 4 it looks awesome but it's a little short, don't you think??
What about Heihachi's death, I don't believe it.
(he will throw his son into that volcano again in his ending sequence, i bet)

And what about Nina, Paul and all the others??? Where are they???
Or that new Auska Kazama (is that her name??)....

...well Namco, I'm a little disappointed. :hmm:

Okay thx for that but I was wondering why they weren't in the intro.
I like the Arcade Opening better.

Not sure really, it would make sense to put all the characters in the intro and have Jinpachi appear at the end.

I'm not 100% sure if this is the intro or not.

It's the so called Opening Movie.
After having looked at the characters I think it is somehow directly related to Tekken 2 as there are Wang Jin Frey, Ganryu and Baek Doo San.

Hmm, I wonder what the story is behind the Tournament.
Gonna search the net for some German info!!! ;)

Good stuff. Thanks!

Cool vid but the end appears to be borted. There has to come more in my opinion but well, we´ll see that when the game gets released. Maybe it´s just a cotout from the begonning of the Tekken 5 intro and the rest doesn´t get shown in order to keep some secrets- who knows?

You can't be disappointed because they didn't have all of the characters from the game in the opening movie. No one seemed to mind when DoA only had 3 in-game characters in it's opening movie.

From what I've seen at the arcades, the opening movie is super tight. I still think it's stupid how they decided to get rid of Heihachi. One of the most menacing foes in the game gets blown up by a character that wasn't around since Tekken 3? Weak. Oh well, at least it sounded funny. :D

Still a bit hard to believe Asuka is a year younger than Xiaoyu. It's evident in some ways, buuuut......

True enough, but Ultimate, had Ayane, Hayate, Kasumi, and Raidou. So, to be honest, DoAU only has 2 playable characters in it's intro. Ownd. :boyah:

There is another intro which I found at gametrailers.com. There is a gameplay movie with Jin too. Take a look:
