Release Details for Tecmo Twosome

Fights and frights coming to Europe in February.

Tecmo is one of only a few Japanese developers that have experienced success on Xbox. And while other companies focus their attention on PlayStation 2, Tecmo is readying two more games for release in Europe on the rival console.

Dead Or Alive Ultimate is a compilation of earlier instalments in the popular Dead Or Alive 3D fighting game series. The package contains reworked versions of the original Dead Or Alive and Dead Or Alive 2, both of which have had support for online multiplayer over Xbox Live added.

The second of Tecmo's incoming games is Project Zero 2: Crimson Butterfly. The game is actually the prequel to the first Project Zero. The prequel ups the suspense as twins Mio and Mayu explore a haunted ancient Japanese village.

Dead Or Alive Ultimate will be in stores on 4 February, while Project Zero fans can pick up the horrifying prequel on 18 February.

i think ou have your countdown...also why is there different names for that game?

Ayane - January 21, 2005 10:03 PM (GMT)
No idea, I'll see if I can find out.

I think the reason for the different name is because they almost mean the same thing, except backwards.

Fatal Frame:

Fatal: It could be over soon. Life threatening.

Frame: Some sort of structure.

Project Zero:

Project: A planned undertaking or organized set of services designed to achieve specific outcomes that begin and end within the grant period.

Zero: A quantity of no importance.

I'm probably completely wrong.

Friend from Tecmo told me that Europe decided to use the Japanese name which is Project Zero.

America has to be different I guess.

JWBB - January 24, 2005 06:51 PM (GMT)
I think Fatal Frame sounds much better.
