This game is hard, but it sure is fun. I can't remember when I've had this much fun , even more than Halo :yes:

I'm going through it a 3rd time. The only other game where I have it played 3 times straight was Panzer Dragoon Orta.

The great thing I like about this game is that I never get bored going through it again

ANY idea why Murai sucked in the end compared to the first time u battled with him.... now i know.... he cant handle SWORDS... he can only weild Nunchucks expertly.... dumbazz :lol: anyway ive had a blast playing through it... tho the second time is not that hard than my first trek even on the very hard setting..... i dunno maybe ive been through the ###### and back that i completely conquered and memorized it....lol.... but getting a master ninja rank is a pain lol.... but the lowesti get now is head.... ^_^

Yeah I know what you mean, everyone thinks he's pretty weak the second time around. You're probably correct about the nunchuks though :lol:

I also really had a blast playing this game. It was a good challenge, but yet, not insurmountable. It had awesome gameplay, the graphics were gorgeous and the soundtrack was well-suited to the atmosphere of the game. It was a great game, and the option to play the original 3 Ninja Gaiden games was incredible, IMO. Oh, and the decapitations were nice too. ^_^ lol

I love this game! I bought it 2 days ago, and Im having trouble putting it down...Im addicted. Im about on Chapter 8...? I think thats what one it is.
Anyway, I think the reason why some people dont like this game is because its "too hard", when really (for me anyway) its just the bosses that are hard. I also noticed that the bosses are kinda...weird....in the sense that the first boss was kinda hard, the second boss was ridiculously hard considering its only the second level, the third boss was a pushover, and so was the fourth. Im now on Alma....and at the point Im at, I have no elixers, and theres no way for me to buy any, (cuz the level's flooded).
Anybody have any tips for beating her? Ive gotten her down to more than half her health, but I keep dying, and Im angry *grr* lol.

Her projectiles are thrown in left to right patterns so jump left to right repeatedly until she stops throwing them

Your sword should be level 3 by now. Do not fight her straight up or you will die. Use flying swallow (jump towards enemy and press Y) on her. Once she's stunned, use X, Y, X, X, X on her.

Only attack her when she's stunned, she has way too many moves that can kill you in a few hits if you try to fight her straight up

Ya my sword is level 3...and I usually dont have too much trouble dodging her attacks, but when I try and use the flying swallow, she dodges it every time (or goes through her, I cant really tell) It seems to me that the best way to knock her down on her knee is to use ninpo...but I can only use that once lol.
I literally have no items at all that I can use to either heal, or get back my ninpo magic.
Also, isnt the combo: x, y, x, x, x the combo for the Izuna Drop? Does that actually work against her?

run in circles, jump dodge her projectiles..... attack only if she does the charge attack at u cuz it gives her time to recover a little after that attack.. then do the blade of nirriti or just quick slashes..... but if ur too far away just continue fleeing... and wait for another opening.... wash/repeat/ and rinse ^_^


anyway the izuna drop requires a "Y" in the end and no it doesnt work for Alma (IIRC)

Ahh i finally did it! Thanks guys for the huge help. Pure luck though that I won. I had about 1% health left lol.

aaaaahhhhhh congrats... the hard part is over... the bosses next time are pushovers.. :)
