Title: 9 Hit Combo
Dan - December 18, 2004 07:18 PM (GMT)
:diagdownleft: P,P(pause)P,P :right: P, K(pause)P,P  K
its very affectic and is very simple
it could also be done like this:
:left: P+K(puase),P,P :right: P, K(pause)P,P  K
the (pause) seperates one attack from another
XCTU - December 18, 2004 07:23 PM (GMT)
this is assuming they don't counter midway during the combo.
And its easier to just write it out like this:
1PP PP6PK PP2K
the space indicates a pause, and numbers are directions.
the other one:
4P+K PP6PK PP2K
hmm...i didnt try this yet, but just thinking about it, instead of PP2K, does PKK work?
Dan - December 18, 2004 07:25 PM (GMT)
true its just a combo i found out during sparring
XCTU - December 18, 2004 07:28 PM (GMT)
oh no, its not bad, you just have to make sure your opponent won't counter everything...because when stunned, if there's a canned string being used, they tend to counter the 3rd or 4th hit a lot of times...which happens to be the launcher in this case i think...

All those PPs are askin' for a reversal.
I make up my combos as I go... (and that's why I suck)
Leifang needs more lows and mids I think; she is easily counterable so I try to keep 'em guessin'.
Ya in real fighting games people use the "ten key" numbering system to show movement of the joystick:
789
456
123
Where 5 means the stick is in neutral position.

It depends. Yes, the PP's are asking for a reversal, but if you mixup when you do the launcher, when you throw, and when you mix up more PP's, then you'll do good.
Making up setups on the spot aren't too bad because unpredictablility wins against counters, but for after you launch them, stick with the most damage and best post juggled setup.

But doin' the same combo every time they are airborne is boring for me (and thus one of my problems with the game- called variety).

nope, Dan is talking about the Forum Category and Topic name.
here is Leifang's thread of Training room, Arena Forums. ;)
Pappi, you'd better to think of meaning of the forum.
every single forum has topic, topic has description, then they must be categorized to right position.
If this Topic '9 hit combo' was Kasumi's combo, then that's wrong post.
So your question was nonsense.
:hmm:
Luminous_Daybreak - December 20, 2004 06:46 AM (GMT)
Although it is a tad misleading, because the name of the person whom the combo is for isn't in the title, but, instead, the sub-forum.
Pappi: Look at the forum name for the answer, always.
Thanks for the common sense lesson Dan, as well as the combo. Not that I use Leifang much.

I always fight very slow with lei-fang, that way my oponnent will counter in thin air most of the time, I use her strong throws a lot too !! That way I don't have to do a lot to win with Lei-Fang but it's still nice to fight with her :leifang:

PP2K however doesn't end with the potential for wall damage.
Here's another 9-hit one, for more variation other than the ever popular PP6PK.
j.P, PP, X, 3K P+K, PPKK
j.P=jumping punch
X= the free button, tap this very quickly so that the computer doesn't confuse the above combo with a PP2K.
The back ram will float for a PPKK which will cause wall damage if close enough.
@ Queen Helena - The shoulder ram is your best friend. And you're right, the qcf throw is just brutal.

When ever I get the enemy in the air my favorite combo would be to use: PP6KK or 6PKP & PP6PK with 6PKP... Nice... ^_^'
Yeah... and because she is catchable... smack 'em once or twice and then if they counter, use 41236G4G46G... and do it quickly... to get all of dat Kool-aid. ^_^'
