DOA Central has some info of different types of stuns:

http://www.homegamers.com/doacentral/Syste...ent.aspx?aid=53

The 6th column of the Frame Data/Movelists (up at Central; not up here yet) shows the frame disadvantage on hit (has a # and if it's negative you have an advantge). Sometimes it has what looks like a backwards E and a square (this is yoro, yoroyoro means stagger).

So when the 6th column has the yoro symbols those moves will cause your opponent to go into a stagger (and thus there is no frame disadvantage #).

You can't throw someone while they are in stun animation. The opponent can do a reversal to get out of some stuns so beware!

See I'm not as stupid as you thought I was!

Knowledge is power!

Now you're goin' hardcore on us Dan!

No prob! :)

Sorry didn't read it until now! (all my mail goes through a checker and so it takes some time for me to get the reply's to posts mails).

Now I have a date with SCII and then some DOAU if there's time.

Can I be really really mean?
Dan, don't hate me, please.
The topic title should be "Stun Attacks." There's no need to use the possesive, and therefore shouldn't be stun attack's. Unless, Stun Attack is a person place or thing. (a.k.a a noun)
So, if anyone finds any grammatical errors in this post, feel free to call me a hypocrite and two-faced snake. I'd wholeheartedly deserve it.

Changed it.

Wow you're a grammatical warpath today! Who made you Mod? (wife comes down on me like a ton of bricks)

Aaaa thanks for pointing that out Luminous!

There is another Stun attack- When you see ? in all his glory!

Man Talim. Your wife reminds me of Chi Chi in DBZ. She always hits Goku with the frying pan!

Oh, I could've changed the title without that long post and potential despising? Oh, crap.
;)
-Remorsefully, Luminous.

Like Talim stated earlier, depending upon the move and the character's reaction time, stun attacks can place you at a diadvantage....depending. If per say you're a button masher, the use of a stun attack may place you at a disadvantage.

Against high-level play, this can seriously screw you. Expecially if your opponent know what's going to be thrown at them.

A great example:

CPU difficulty on very hard. Insanenly stupid.

My practice (when there's no human around) is very hard survival- so beware!
