I've heard good things about this movie, and only good things. I'm excited to watch this because the story comes from real history (and some of you will know how much I like to study history) between China and Korea.

I'm ordering it over www.yesasia.com, no asian videostores here. After it's delivered I will watch and take screencaps.

Yay my order came today! However I got the crappy american DVD version (I don't like the cover, yeah I'm whiny >_<).

Gonna watch it later today.

Sounds cool.

May I ask how the American version is different?

Or is it just the cover?

The american version leaves out all the bonus features except deleted scenes. That includes interviews, the-making-of, the music video, trailer, and a booklet. They dubbed the voices but korean dialogue is selectable. Most korea-to-america DVDs do that.

When I bought it from the guy he put the korean DVD cover as the picture and that mislead me. >_< His service was great though, I plan to buy the rest of the movies I want to wacth from him.

9/10

Beautiful movie. I recommend everyone to watch, but don't expect any wire-fu (fake/fantasy fighting) that are in popular movies like Crouching Tiger/Iron Monkey/Hero. The character development was great, very rare these days. Only down side was some battle scenes were hard to see, shaky camera.

Zhang Ziyi, who plays the chinese princess
Ju Jin Mo, plays the korean general
Saves her from the mongols
Chop
It was really cool when they showed how they did this

I like the original versions better. OVA's kickass. I'd rather read subtitles than hear it in english. Thats what I get for watching too much Anime thats not in english.

It's no different from the korean version except less extras. I heard the english voices for about.......10 seconds and switched back. It was dreadful.
