Title: Halo novels

I have all three; read the first two and a little over halfway through the third. Great stuff. The quality of the writing is great. It's a great time killer and extremely informative if you're a big fan of Halo. The first book is a prequel(talks about all of the Spartans and where they come from and stuff), the second is acutal Halo events(and a bunch of different things that Master Cheif isn't there to witness(Lt. McKay should've been in the game, but I digress...)), and the third about the afterevents of Halo. The last book gives a few hints on what could go on in Halo 2. It also tells you that he isn't the last Spartan after all! But I really hope that Kelly doesn't die... :(

Places like Waldenbooks sell them. GameStop also has a bundle of all three for just 20 bucks(they're 8 bucks individually).

Do they sell them in Britain?

My friend is letting me borrow these books. I've finished the first one. Pretty good. The second one sucked because it was just a strategy guide that would describe the extra things that would have been cutscenes or in-game talking. I'm reading the third one now and boy has it caught my interest. Just a few hours ago, I've read all the way up to Chapter 30.

The second one sucked?! I loved the second one. The way it switched point of views was extremely impressive.

Well that was the only thing that got me to read it.....

I thought the narrative direction was great as well.

I loved 1&3 and 2 just gave me a headache.

But I think that for HALO3 there should be a Flood main charicter! Like the big seaweed dude in HALO2 takes over Kellys body and vuala!!!!! A FLOUD-BUDIE MAIN CHARICTER!

ps. Arbiter rules!

I can't believe everytime they describe Dr. Halsey, they make her seem younger than she is. I'm about to start Chapter 30 sometime convienent.
