Kill Bill Volume 1 or 2? What kind a butt-kicking do you prefer. The all out slaughter-fest of Volume 1 or the more subdued, thoughtful violence of Volume 2? I haven't seen either so I wanted to find out your opinions.

I liked Kill Bill V1 more. The endfight with Oren was awesome. But the endfight with Bill in V2 was a bit of a letdown. I was expecting a big showdown. That, or the two of them to get back together lol. Now THAT would have been different. The fight with Elle Driver was very unexpected. Funny as all get out. Daryl Hannah looks a LOT different with an eyepatch. What would she look like with two?

I mean, in Vol. 2, she.....*spoilers ahead*
beats bill with HAND GESTURES. omgwtf.
(so what if it kills in 5 steps? it's still wicked anti-climatic. -.-)

and overall the fights in vol. 2 just weren't as cool as the ones in vol. 1. though elle is pretty awesome, i think.

Although I haven't seen either, my father has seen both. He said he preferred Volume 2 because it's more about story and character development.

The second would have been better, but the story just was not good enough. Still, both are good movies.

I don't like thinking of them seperatley. They were supposed to be just one movie, but it was too long, so Quentin cut it in half (hence the crappy "ending" in volume 1). But, if I had to choose, I'd say volume 1.

Color? :shocked: YAY! I'm glad to hear it'll finally have color, I hated the Black&white version. I wonder how much the Nc-17 will be?

Actually, the Japanese verison of Kill Bill vol 1 has the battle with the Crazy 88s in color. So, if you have a region-free DVD player, you can get the Japanese version of Kill Bill and watch it in color.

I love them both but I have to say Kill Bill 1 because of the anime scene and the awesome final scene were she kills like 80 samurai fighters

Even though both were pretty amazing, I'd say Vol1. It's hard to choose though, because Vol2 has a lot of interesting story to it.
