Title: Awesome Survival Move

I learned an EXCELLENT survival combo, that will almost garantee an item of some sort. Use Ayane's grab+up, to do her throw, then, IMMEDIATELY after finishing the move do her down attk, either one will do, but the jumping one does more damage. This move works in any mode, from easy to very hard. But it usually fails against human foes.

Her catch throw 8F+P is what he is taking about. The throw has knockdown properties which is why you can do that. Any move that "slams" the opponent into the ground can be followed up with an oki attack. Also you are guaranteed a ground attack from a wall stun... though most people prefer just nail them again when they wall stun. :china:

Ah.....i see, i normally go for a knockback attack....does more damage that way.

I use the throw combo for whern I am low on HP and can't risk getting countered. And then pray the ground attk renders some food.

As stupid as this sounds, whenever I have the opponent on the floor, I always follow up with a down attack. Or, oki?, (as ExSetUp said). That way, I get points even if my health is full. (Meaning I always pick up the item that's spit out.)

I normally get ubber items by using both Tina an Bass separately. Using these two when near a wall = death to all + ubber items.
Luminous_Daybreak - August 19, 2004 05:36 PM (GMT)
AH! *lightbulb* That would make sense. However, I hardly ever use Tina or Bass, so that wouldn't really work with me.

I don't usually use tag team anything. I can not use the tag teams very well.

Aw man, your missing out on fun and stupidness rolled together as one. Try it, you don't know what your missing.

Oh no, I do play it, just not very often.
And, I think the word you are looking for is "Stupidity".
