I saw the first part when Kenshin's family was sloterd and his Master saved him and started teaching him swordsmenship, but thats about it.

your reffering to OAV 1 my friend himura`s past before he became a rurouni..... its not really Himuras family that got slaughtered but the one who adopted him... so did u watched it till the part where he got the X mark in his face??? it was so dramatic.... i dont wanna spill more details so watch the whole thing. :P

Rurouni Kenshin OAV 2: Reflection is more dramatic... it occured 10 (or maybe more) years after the Shishio battle (see TV episodes)..... this is Himuras last battle and final struggle..... again i dont wanna spill things out.... some might say GOD i hate this one... but for me this is the best conclusion ive ever seen....

first watch the OAV1, then the TV episodes (take note... dont bother to watch anything that is past the shishio battle since it is only "FILLER EPISODES" which means they are not part of the ARC)... then finally go watch the OAV2..... ull never regret that u did :) ......

PS: the Rurouni Kenshin the movie was a filler to..... i ddnt like it that much :hmm:

ALRIGHT since i ddnt get a hallehujah w/ my last post :lol:. i might as well spill the beans lol.....

in the first OVA.. tomoe married Kenshin in order to avenge her fiance` killed by kenshin. but in the midst of their elopement tomoe fell in love with kenshin.. and managed to live happily for a while... but in the end of that ark... tomoe was accidentally killed by kenshin... why??? go watch it ..lol... so the summary is... the first slash in his cheek was from tomoe's fiance` and the second slach in his cheek was from the dying tomoe...

and the OVA2.. guess what... in the end KENSHIN HIMURA DIED!!!! i was like WTF!!!! it was the most saddest thing that i watched ever... the last scene was KENSHIN HIMURA was lying in the arms of his current wife KAORU KAMIYA... :no:

So all of this is after he becames a wondering swordsmen?

And for the OVAs, I've never seen them so I don't know. But I saw the entier tv serie and I claim that the movie is boring.

I have the OVA's Samurai X: Trust, Samurai X: Betrayal, Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal: Director's Cut, Samurai X: Reflection, the Japanese Versions of the aforementioned, Rurouni Kenshin episodes 1 - end of Makoto Shishio Arc. I absoultely loved the soundtracks, all of which I have BTW. I draw Kenshin Himura all the time. I have had Tomoe's Kimono made for me, Kenshin's Kimono from the series and first OVa made for a friend of mine, he looks good in it ^^. I have picked that entire movie apart, scene by scene, line by line and -still- can watch it millions of times over again. Obsessed? Hah! You're not even close to what it should be called. I am the guru of all things Kenshin ^^ well at least to my knowledge :-p

Got the manga of the Jin-Chu/Revenge arc(am i correct??).... but heck im having trouble since i cant read Mandarin (its a chinese edition)....

ive read the synopses but it was not enough for me.. i want to read the panel by panel dialouge.....

I've seen it. Got it on DVD in fact. Don't know why, but that movie made me cry like Automatic does....
