Description: open to all.

Sirius Black - September 22, 2007 08:28 PM (GMT)
Today was an overcast day, and the deep gray color of the sky seemed to relay the feeling of the underlying factor of despair. Sirius ran his hand through his messy, black hair and sighed. He absentmindedly picked at a knot that resided on the left side of his mop of thick hair. Sirius gazed at the orange and red flames of the fire dancing under the marble mantle. His eyes seemed unfocused, empty, as if he was in a trance. Suddenly, the depth returned to his silvery eyes, and they sparkled with anxiety.

Hastily, Sirius stood up from his seat on the couch. Where he had been sitting seconds ago was an indentation shaped exactly the same as Sirius' sitting position. All around the spot were ground of kernels of popcorn and other junk food that was something that added to his /ill health/. There were packages of many packages of chocolate frogs scattered on the floor and table nearest to where Sirius was just moments before. He reached down and straightened out his wrinkled robes. Picking up a small square piece of paper, he folded it and neatly stowed it in his pocket. Then Sirius swiftly took of in the direction of the exit, his robes billowing behind him.

With each step down the corridor, Sirius' heels clicked in time to his breathing. It seemed as if he was making some sort of beat. As he walked he spotted a small grouping of girls stopped in their tracks. They glanced over in Sirius' direction and immediately started giggling. A tall, lanky blonde that stood on the far right of the group whispered something to a stout little redhead. Upon registering the words that the whisper formed, the redhead turned a bright red color and looked away from him. Sirius smirked at the girls and winked as he passed by. The blonde let out a small sigh of adoration and then went back to talking with her girlfriends.

Finally Sirius reached the Great Hall where it was already bustling with Hogwarts students. He scanned the crowd as if it would give him a remote idea of who had sent him the note. Pulling it out of his pocket, Sirius fiddled with the piece of paper as he walked aimlessly over to the Gryffindor table. Finding his friends, Sirius seated himself with ease. His disposition was not as bright and egocentric as it normally was, but instead he seemed more timid and withdrawn. During dinner he struggled to make small talk as he prodded his dinner with his fork.

Lily Evans - September 22, 2007 08:51 PM (GMT)
Sitting behind a pile of books in the library, trying to avoid human troubles, was a certain fiery-headed girl. Her delicately freckled nose was buried into a book called, ‘1006 Ways to Charm a Teacup’. Okay, so it wasn’t exactly the thriller of the century, but it kept her mind occupied with the monotonous instructions. ‘To turn a teacup into a guinea pig you must first make sure your cup isn’t chipped or broken in any way. After all, you don’t want your guinea pig to have large gashes in its sides’. Lily had read that sentence at least five times. Her mind just couldn’t concentrate. She needed a break.

Rising up from her plush arm chair, Lily gave a stretch and a yawn, walked over to a bookshelf, and placed the book where it had previously been. Now what to do? She couldn’t go out on the grounds and enjoy a moment by the lake. The weather was overcast and it would surely rain any moment now. She didn’t want to endure the giggles of the girls in her dormitory of their sexy Sirius Black, so the common room was out of the question. So why not the Great Hall? She could always do with a nice, little pick-me-up.

And right on cue, Lily’s stomach gurgled with just the thought of a nice warm meal. It sounded like a good plan. Even if there were people there she didn’t want to talk to, she could always sit on the opposite end of the long, wooden table.

Lily picked up her worn leather bag, stuffed a quill and leaves of parchment paper into it, and headed for the exit. As she swung open the large double doors, the smells of nicely cooked meal filled her nostrils. The smells from the kitchens always dispersed throughout the school so almost every kid in the castle was always longing to go to breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

She trotted down the stairs at a brisk pace giving small waves to people who called out to her. Every once in a while a student would stop her and attempt to hold a conversation, but her mind was completely set on the meal she would soon be devouring. Finally, she reached the Great Hall where she found it was pleasantly crowded. Great, she thought. She wasn’t too much of a social butterfly today. She must’ve woken up on the wrong side of the bed.

With a quick glance around the Hall, Lily noticed that Sirius had joined his friends at the Gryffindor table. She was pleasantly surprised not to see James there. She really couldn’t put up with all his mooning over her, not that Sirius was much better when it came to his cockiness and overconfidence. But she had been avoiding people throughout the day, not why just say ‘hello’ or something like that.

Within a few strides, Lily had reached the open spot across from Sirius and plopped herself down on the bench with a sigh. “’Ello there,” she started. “How’re you?”
She began to fill her plate with roasted turkey and mashed potatoes. She would have also gone for the green beans and squash, but she didn’t want to seem like a pig.

Sirius Black - September 22, 2007 09:16 PM (GMT)

Sirius finally decided to take a bite of his meal and raised the fork to his mouth, only to cease the action at the sound of a high, girlish voice greeting him. Decidedly stuffing the food in his mouth, he looked up, spare food dripping from his face. A girl with firey red hair and an extremely fair face sat directly across from him, daintily nibbling at the monstrous helping on her plate.

"Hellermmmm," he said, mouth full.

Swallowing his food hastily he coughed multiple times before looking straight into Lily's eyes.

"Er...sorry. Ello gorgeous," he said flirtatiously, his face lighting up. It was now that he looking more like himself again. The gloominess and refined disposition that was present a few minutes before had left and his manwhore essence had fully returned making his face glow with pleasure.

"What brings you here?" He pulled the piece of paper out of his pocket and started unfolding it above the table. He figured that maybe he could make her jealous with a note from a "mysterious admirer".

He pretended to read it with intensity and then made the most genuinely artificial look of affection towards the note as he chuckled full-heartedy. Folding it back up he continued to hold it in his hand, hopefully awaiting Lily's jealous gaze.

Macy Mann - September 22, 2007 09:26 PM (GMT)
Macy looked blankly around her dorm. There was silence all around her, no noise but her breathing. Her hazel eyes sat focused on the ceiling as she lay on her four poster bed. The room was not very dark, but you couldn't exactly call it light. I suppose there were many much more entertaining things she could do, but this was what she opted to do. Why, well, she had all her school work done, and there was really nothing else for her to do, at least nothing even remotely exciting. She sighed as she looked at her watch, sliding herself off her bed, she slinked her way into the common room.

Macy turned her head around from side to side, glancing around the empty common room. She had abandoned her robes, but was still wearing the rest of her uniform. It was all worn correctly of course, save the slightly loosened tie. She glanced at the empty chairs as she looked at the crackling fire. It was weird for the common room to be so empty, but everyone had probably already headed down to the great hall to eat.

With that, Macy lightly stepped out of the portrait hole. She put her arms up behind her head pulling her brown hair into a ponytail then put them back down at her side. She smoothed out her skirt then turned to leave, but before she could do so, she had to carry on a small conversation with the picture.

Walking through the corridors, Macy took a piece of parchment from her pocket and began to read it as she walked. It was a poem she had copied down from in the library, it had been interesting so she had decided it would be cool to put it on a piece of parchment and keep it. It could always be used for something later, a card or maybe even for an assignment. Who know.

The girl slumped into the large hall, her ears instantly filling with the chatter of many of her fellow peers. Lots of little conversations, all of different subjects. Some talking of school, some talking of friends and crushes, other talking of rumors and gossip. She could hear the usual sneers coming from the Slytherin table as she continued to walk. Approaching the Gryffindor table, Macy stood on her tip toes peering her head up over many head, trying to find a place to sit.

Sirius Black - September 22, 2007 09:42 PM (GMT)

Whilest conversing with Lily, Sirius suddenly stopped in his tracks. Across the hall was a semi-attractive girl whose head was craned above the crowd, scanning for a place to sit at the Gryffindor table.

"Crap," said Sirius.

He ducked under the beautifully carved wooden table. He knew that the people around him were probably wondering what the hell he was doing, but it wouldn't be apparent before long. It wasn't normal for him to be ducking away from a girl, but he had just been through a rather messy breakup with this girl and didn't want to risk her unleashing her wrath onto him.

The seats on his left were empty and he knew that she would sit there if she noticed the open spot. Hoisting his legs onto the wooden seating bench, he glanced around to see a group of irl gallavanting around. Sirius gestured for them to come over, and immediately obliging, they did as they were told and came a seated themselves next to Sirius.

Lily Evans - September 22, 2007 11:13 PM (GMT)
Lily stuck her fork in her mashed potatoes and began to swirl it around into an utter mess. Suddenly she wasn’t too hungry. It certainly wasn’t the presence of Sirius though. He looked disgusting with his mouth stuffed with food. How come guys were such pigs? It was like they had no manners or respect for people sitting around them.

With a sigh Lily rolled her eyes. “Sirius, you are utterly repulsive.” But she knew that comment wouldn’t even begin to bring his ego down. His head was almost as big as Mount Everest. “Sweet words won’t get you anything you want, you know.”

Crossing her legs and folding her arms across her chest, Lily stared straight back into his eyes with an icy glare that she was famous for. “I’ll win any staring contest, so you might as well just give up now. You’ll be embarrassed in front of your entire little fan club.” What did those girls see in him anyways? Yes, he was devastatingly good looking and sexy, but he was way too cocky for his own good. The boy needed to be put into his place.

Gazing down at the note he had whipped from his pocket, her eyes narrowed as she tried to read the note through the back of the parchment. It was impossible. A little, green monster popped up inside her chest, but before she let it roar, she stuffed it back into its little box. She was not jealous of some little, fourth year girl who had probably written the letter to Sirius. Impossible. “Secret admirers?” she asked. “For all I know it’s probably some little first year girl who has a little crush on you. Who wrote it?” She waited for his answer when she saw a brown haired girl entering the Great Hall.

Lily noticed that Sirius began to freak out. Lily wondered what the problem was at first, but soon realized the reasons for his actions. The girl, whose name she recalled to be Macy, must have been an ex-girlfriend. She had seen this reaction from Sirius Black before. It usually occurred when he had had a nasty break up with the girlfriend. With a sly smile, Lily turned to wave to the girl.

“Macy, there’s room over here,” Lily called while scooting over a bit so the girl could sit down. Sirius’ little attempt to occupy the seat next to him hadn’t worked and Lily smiled at the fact. With a smirk, Lily turned back to Sirius. “You don’t mind do you?”

Sticking her fork into a piece of turkey, Lily thought to herself, This is going to be an interesting night.

Sirius Black - September 22, 2007 11:22 PM (GMT)
Sirius returned her glare with white-hot intensity. He knew that he could never win. Looking up to see Macy seating herself comfortably next to Lily, he growled. Sirius put down his fork and softened his gaze on Lily to a rather affectionate, puppy dog look -- completely ignoring his ex's presence.

"So as I was saying, this gorgeous seventh year girl just wrote me this letter. I'm supposed to meet her in the Ravenclaw girls' dormitory at midnight tonight," he said, rather loudly, whipping out the note.

It was written in beautiful script, no bleeding ink and every "I" dotted lovingly with a heart. He handed it to Lily whom he realised would by now know the stunt he was trying to pull. Sirius gave a quick sideways glance to to fangirls now next to him and winked.

Pulling back one girl's beautiful, bone straight, blonde hair he whispered, "I'll still have time for you."

She gave our a light giggle and turned to the others who were now ferociously whispering to her and sending Sirius naughty looks.

Smirking, he turned back to Lily and pointed at the name that was signed on the bottom right-hand corner of the note.

"You know her, do you not? Dare I say that she is even more intellectually in tact than you?"

Macy Mann - September 22, 2007 11:27 PM (GMT)
Macy jerked her head in the direction of the voice. She had heard someone call her name, but had not been able to identify who it was until she saw her. Why, It was Miss Lily Evans. She gave off a relieve smile as she gave an at ease sigh, then began walking in the direction of the red-haired girl.

She shoes made a slight clicking noise as she came around the table. Suddenly, she noticed a bit of black hair. She instantly realized who it was, Sirius. She and him were, not on the best of terms in this moment in time. They had just gone through a rather messy break-up, and she wasn't too happy. But should she be? Though, Macy was handling it rather well, she was still quite irked. She noticed that he was apparently trying to hide from or avoid her. This was most defiantly NOT helping his case.

Walking over to the empty seat she nodded to Lily, and glanced in Sirius' direction. She sat down, giving him a rather scary glare, as she grabbed her plate as put random foods on it, on of these foods being green beans, and pushed them around with her fork. Ace rested her chin on her hand and look away from Sirius, plastering a smile on her face and looking at Lily.

"Thanks Lily. I was beginning to think I would end up eating on the floor." she said as she rolled her eyes then jabbed her fork rather harshly into a green bean bringing it up to her mouth and eating it. 'What the hell was wrong with him. I hadn't wanted to yell at him, nor was I planning on it. But now that he is avoiding me, I kind of did want to yell at him.'

Macy listened as he read the letter, and watched as he flirted with the other girl. She bit the edge of her lip as she glanced down down at her food then rolled her eyes, letting out a small stream of curses under her breath.

Sirius Black - September 22, 2007 11:45 PM (GMT)

Sirius could see the obvious anguish at his flirting with other girls. The symptoms were quite clear; from the biting of her lip to blaze in her eyes. Though Sirius knew that he should stop, he was having too much fun.

"So Lily, what do you think?"

He continued to blatantly ignore Macy and ruthlessly went on for the kill.

"I think that she might by the one," Sirius said in a tone just above whispering. "You know, the one in the letter? She's my type."

This was probably the biggest one of the biggest lies that Sirius had ever told a girl. He knew that he wouldn't be settling down anytime soon Commitment was a horrid thing in his mind -- it was like the vomit flavored Bertie Bott's Every Flavored Beans. It was so repulsive that once must steer clear of it at all costs. That was most likely why he and never made it through with some of the other girls. Anyways, he needed to keep his options open.

Putting his head back down, Sirius took another forkful of his meal, chewing extra loudly because he knew it got on Lily's last nerve.

"So hrmmm brdrmmm," he said, mouth full of potatoes.

Lily Evans - September 22, 2007 11:48 PM (GMT)

Lily snatched the note from Sirius' large hands. The note was written in almost immaculate cursive, it looked almost too perfect. What was Sirius getting at? Was he only doing this to make her jealous? Lily continued to stare down at the note while she chewed on some green beans that she had piled onto her plate only a few seconds ago.

"Sirius Black, did you forge this note?" she asked. "Because if you did I will literally murder you. You would have to sink ever so low to do something like this. You better not be trying to make me jealous for some odd reason." He pointed to the signature, but she couldn't quite make out the name. It was a little sloppier than the rest of the note. "Who is that anyway?"

With a grumble, she crumpled up the note and through it back at the overly confident boy. Was he always such a manwhore? Well, that was a silly question to ask, of course he was. Ever since she had met him on the train ride to Hogwarts. He had started off bullying her ex-best friend, Severus, but an hour later he had a small brunette girl on his lap and he was stroking her hair longingly.

Lily’s jade green eyes narrowed even more and little bit of the red monster, fury and the green monster, jealousy jumped out of its box into her heart. This boy made her so mad and she really had no idea why. Other boys acted like this at school, but it was really only Sirius that ticked her off. Maybe it was because she had known him for too long.

Giving the blonde girl a glare icier than her first, the girl popped out of her seat and ran back to join her friends. They all brought their heads together and began to converse. Every once in a while a head would turn in her direction with an expression of anger and awe. They all needed to be put in their place, just like a certain boy who was currently sitting across from her.

"I honestly have no clue why I sat down here with you All youve done so far is been an arrogant prat that has no clue whats good for his own health I might as well leave" Lily turned to face Macy and gave a smile. “Why haven’t you said hi to Macy yet? I’m sure she wants to be included in this conversation.”

Lily made to get up just to see what Sirius would do. If he didn’t do anything, she would join another group of friends and eat with them. That was the good thing of having so many friends, there was always someone to keep you company. Even if you didn’t want it.

Sirius Black - September 23, 2007 12:41 AM (GMT)

Sirius was dumbfounded at Lily's rash comment. How could she thing such a thing when he was so genuinley excited anxious about.

"Lily! How could you think that? That's below me."

Though Sirius most definately knew that this was not below him. His smirk only grew as Lily began to figure out his plan. He could see the cogs in her brain working on overdrive, thinking out what to say next. Maybe his plan was working.

Raising his eyebrows at Lily he grinned naughtily, "Jealous, eh?"

He snatched the note back and snapped a few colorful curses at Lily. Then he heard her say Macy's name. He cringed at the thought, but he mustn't make her think that he's weak.

"'Lo Macy," he said with sarcasm added to his voice.

As Lily got up he made no reaction to follow. She knew she needed him. She'd come to her senses. He'd let her chase after him.

Macy Mann - September 23, 2007 01:07 AM (GMT)
Macy pushed a stray piece of soft brown hair from her slightly tanned face blinking her eyes slightly for they were becoming a bit dry. She listened intently to their conversation, raising an eyebrow occasionally. She let out a rather loud scoff as she shook her head. Below him? Nothing was below him, at least not in her opinion. He was Sirius black, Lower then a freaking worms belly button.

Macy pushed around her food on her plate with her fork, giving a bored sigh. She wasn't hungry at all. Her stomach felt weird, and she didn't want to eat. But she knew it. She didn't like being around Sirius, it gave her a weird feeling. She never felt quite herself when he was there. No matter you much you tell yourself you are over someone, unless you really are, it means nothing. And she knew just by the way she felt that she wasn't, but HE would never know that. Nuh uh.

Macy shoot Lily a slightly confused look as she said her name, then she glanced over at Sirius. "Good evening Mr. Black." she said, in a non caring almost evil sort of way. She lifted a small bit of potatoes to her lips as bit it, then set her fork down. She picked up her goblet and drank from it, letting the pumpkin juice slip slowly down her scratchy throat. She cleared said throat, then looked at Lily.

She was leaving? Was she REALLY going to leave her ALONE with Sirius Black. Macy shoot Lily a slightly pleading look, as if to say 'Please don’t.' But she made sure to keep it discreet, as to not let Sirius on.

Lily Evans - September 23, 2007 01:24 AM (GMT)

“Below you? Nothing is below you Black. You think you’re the shit, but really I could care less. You think every girl in this entire school has a major crush on you, but there are girls who think you are utterly repulsive. Girls like me.” Okay, his personality was utterly repulsive, but his looks were good enough to make anyone swoon. The boy was just full of tricks tonight wasn’t he?

Lily’s eyes widened at his accusation of her being jealous. It was true, but in the tiniest way possible. She could never be jealous of some girl who had won the affections of Sirius Black. She could really care less. Lily Evans had her fair share of guys to turn to, and she did not need Sirius. Why was she even contemplating this? She would never even dream about dating him or even kissing him. It was like those times when you threw up in your mouth.

“One thing I am not is jealous. Whoever that girl is can have you if you want it that way. But one thing I will not do is sink so low that I am chasing after you. You’re just not worth it. And even if you did have an inkling of a chance to even get one date with me, I would refuse on the spot. I can’t believe I even know you,” she spat. But before she turned away to head off to another table, she noticed the desperate look Macy gave her. Yes, she was mad and angry that Sirius made all these false accusations, but she just couldn’t abandon a friend like that. Lily was too kind hearted to think of even committing the action.

With a huff, Lily sat back down at the table, but turned her body so she was only facing Macy and wouldn’t have to look Sirius in the eyes. He had not won the battle; she was simply helping a friend. And she didn’t want to give him the satisfaction of thinking he had won her over because he most certainly had not.

“How’re you Macy?” Lily asked. “Don’t you just hate boys who don’t even care for girls? All they do is think girls are a material possession that you can practically buy. They don’t even give the girls the little surprises that can make her day.” She had annunciated these last few sentences because she had wanted Sirius to hear them. Maybe he would finally have an epiphany on how he should treat a girl right. Yes, she was kind of using Macy in a way, but this had to be done.

Sirius Black - September 23, 2007 01:38 AM (GMT)

"No need to shower me with praise, Macy. I can see the affection seeping through your pores."

It was then that Sirius realized that Lily had decided against leaving him and sat back down. Smirking he noticed that she was doing everything possible to avoid him. This was so sickening like Lily that Sirius found it attractive. But seeing that he would not be able to possibly penetrate the wall she had mentally constructed between them, he turned to the fangirls still sitting loyaly at his side.

"Don't you just hate girls who think that they are above the finest guys in school?"

He said this rather loudly as to contradict what was being conversed between the two girls on the opposite side of the table. Each fangirl nodded hastily, knowing agreeing with Sirius was something that was required to get on his good side. Blowing each of them a kiss, he stood up and traipsed over to the side of the table where Lily was sitting and plopped himself in between the two girls; much delighted at their high-pitched squeals.

Macy Mann - September 23, 2007 02:17 AM (GMT)
Macy gave out a highly sarcastic laugh as she listened to Sirius' voice. "Praise? Affection? These are to things you shall NEVER receive from me again Mr. Black. Do I make myself clear?" she said pointing her fork at him. She looked at it and shook her head scooped up some corn onto her fork then took a bit. After she swallowed she said softly to herself "and now I am a teacher." this statement obviously referring to the way she had just sounded when she said that.

Glancing over at the fan girls, Macy raised an eyebrow. They were shooting her and Lily disgusted glances, they had OBVIOUSLY never seen a girl treat Sirius this way before. Well, too bad. The little scum of a manwhore deserved it. As you can see, every second near him made her thoughts towards him more hostile.

Looking back at Lily, Macy waited until Sirius looked away before she mouthed the words thank you. She was tired If his childish ways and crazy games. "Eh.. I have been better, but I am doing fairly well, though, quidditch practice is threatening to kill me though." she said with a slight laugh as she looked back down at the plate then pushed it forward away from her, not wanting to look at it anymore.

"I totally agree. You know, guys think everything is about sex and making out. Do they not realize most girls would take flower and chocolate over kisses and snogs any day?" she said emphasizing every syllable of every word. She looked at the fan girls nodding in agreement with Sirius, as she raised an eyebrow in disgust at them then said quite clearly, "Disgusting little things aren't they?"

Sirius Black - September 23, 2007 02:27 AM (GMT)
"They are aren't they?" Said Sirius with a bemused smile. "But that's what makes them so fascinating."

Sirius pushed back his locks of gorgeous hair and turned to Lily. Her eyes were piercing and Sirius knew that what he was doing was taking a big chance. But never had he felt like this about a girl before. It wasn't just about getting laid, but having someone to hold, to love. Pulling a rose out of his jacket, he handed it to Lily.

"Sorry that I didn't have the chocolates."

With this Sirius stood up, shooting the fangirls a naughty smile and turned to the two of them.

"I have a date with an older girl. Meet you two in the common room later" Then, to his fangirls he said, "And you too."

He winked at Lily and strutted aimlessly off, his cloaks billowing as if there was a fierce storm attempting to blow them off of his muscular back. As his footsteps faded away, all that was left of his consequence was the lovestruck fangirls and the gently echoing clicks of his footsteps on the stone flooring.

Lily Evans - September 23, 2007 02:53 AM (GMT)

This was going too far. She had come here for a pleasant dinner and maybe a nice conversation, but she was struck with the burden of an argument between her and Sirius. The two were stubborn and would continue to stand their grounds. Lily would never admit defeat to the bloke. Maybe she should’ve just stayed holed up in the library with her nose buried in a book. No one was there to bother her and her life was peaceful. She was cut off from the reality of the world and the horrible boy by the name of Sirius Black. Or maybe she should’ve have just taken a seat elsewhere. Surely she would’ve been welcomed elsewhere, but now it was too late. She had made the decision to sit with Black. But another thought popped into her mind. He was the one who had started this with that silly note. It was probably made up anyways. If he hadn’t been trying to impress her, none of this would have ever happened.

Lily was about to respond to Macy’s comment when Sirius plopped in between the two of them. He reminded her of an immature little boy that just needed attention to survive. He was like those boys that needed to be cared for by their mothers every second of the day. Lily gave a high pitched shriek and scooted as far away from the black-haired boy as she could without falling off the bench. “Would you tell your little fan girls to go away?” Lily spat. “They have nothing to do with this conversation and as of now they are just dead weight taking up perfectly good space.”

Before she knew it, Sirius had presented her with a rose. This was unexpected. When had Sirius ever acknowledged what a girl wanted? He was one of those guys who would only do things if it benefited them. Was she just a thing that he would benefit from? Before she knew it, Lily had muttered an apology to Macy and rose from the table.

Was she actually running after Sirius? This is what he had wanted all along and now she was giving him the satisfactions of winning. She caught up with his long strides and tugged on her arm. “Sirius,” she started a little coldly. “What in the world does this mean?” She held up the rose that was hanging limply in her hand.

What was Sirius getting at? She was definitely not as easily seduced as his fan girls, but she had always been a softy for surprises. And this was definitely a surprise. Hadn’t they been in an argument just a few moments ago? All Lily could think was that Sirius has a lot of mood changes.

Sirius Black - September 23, 2007 03:03 AM (GMT)

"Well, I just thought..."

This was quite new for Sirius. This sensation. This yearning. Before girls were pretty faces that meant nothing but now when he saw Lily, he looked past her beauty and down into her soul. He shuffled his feet nervously.

"I knew that you liked roses and well...I've never actually done this before. I would've gotten you chocolates but I didn't know if you liked...them."

His last few words were mumbled in an indecipherable tone. He laughed nervously and then looked at his watch.

"Er...well, I kinda gotta go. But I'll meet you in the Gryffindor common room soon?"

Sirius was dumbfounded, he had never acted like this in front of a female. Much less in fron tof Lily. Hastily he turned around and continued struttting down the corridor to avoid further embarassment.

Macy Mann - September 23, 2007 03:08 AM (GMT)
Macy watched with a sour look on her face as Sirius handed Lily the rose. No it had nothing to do with Lily, she was not sour at Lily in the slightest, rather she was happy there was finally someone who shared her "current" opinion of Sirius. But she was now extremely mad at Sirius, who had never given her anything in the whole amount of time they had gone out. She bit her lip as she looked at him, her eyes slightly angry, slightly confused.

Macy tapped her fingers on the table, filling the silence that rang through her head. By now, she had tuned them all out. She didn't want to hear any of it. She didn't want to talk to wither of them, or anyone’s else for that matter. Why was she pissed? I don’t think even she knows, But she was, and talking was most likely that way to make things escalate, she would rather keep silent.

As she saw Lily stand up, she nodded at the apology with a forced smile, then watched as she walked off after him. She rested her face in her hands, as she put all her efforts in trying not to cry. Luckily, her efforts worked. So she sat there alone, starring at the black wall. Fun eh?
