"FAMILY OF FOUR SENTENCED TO DEATH. SUSPECTED OF WITCHCRAFT." Life between muggles and wizards had forever been peaceful, a silent agreement that neither would bother the other. Muggles were left to live their normal lives, never having to be threatened by the power ones with the gift of magic happened to have. However, as most things peaceful, peace soon came to an end. Death began to strike muggles, in ways that caused them to raise their eyebrows. It didn't take long for the media to begin pointing the figure towards those with the gift, instiling a frame of mind that those with magic were not to be trusted. And if trusted, as they had been in the past, would take advantage of such, and cause the unthinkable; death to those without the means to protect themselves against magic; muggles.
Those who practiced magic in the open were forced to put the evidence hidden away. The price to pay for being caught in the act, was death. If proven guilty, and most weren't even held with fair trials to have a chance at an innocent verdict, one was hung or shot. To the government, one less magical being, even if they were truly innocent in the end, was one less hassle for the muggle people. The muggles were just happy that finally it wasn't their own that were dying, but those that had crossed the line, and began to take advantage of them.

"Who is it," his voice was level, holding no amount of emotion. His face, though hidden from the people standing near, was likely the same.
A small group of people stood behind him, wearing a similar hooded cloak as his own. They looked from one to the other, most wishing they could think up a reply on their toes, but failing to do so. For the first time since they had sworn their loyalty to their master, they had failed him. Failed to bring the threat down, and failed to bring the right answers that would help him make up for their incompetence.
He slammed his fist against the wall, a small crack forming where he had hit. It was a warning sign, that they were treading on thin ice. "Who is it!" This time his voice came in a yell, sending multiple shivers down the backs of his subjects. He was making them squirm, and he had all the right too. He had depended on them, and they had failed to bring him success. It should have been easy. He was powerful, more powerful then almost any other wizard out there. Yet, now there was an obstacle that had seemed to form out of thin air.
"Muggles, master," a voice came from one of his subjects, cracking slightly in tone from fear of what might happen to them all. "They must of sensed something wrong about all those deaths on muggles, and now they feel the need to rid the earth of magic all together."
A laugh softly came from the masters lips, and grew in loudness with each passing second. "Muggles! Muggles!" He couldn't contain himself. "Are you all too incompetent to take care of a few muggles? I thought I taught you better." He drew his hood back slowly, revealing his red eyes, as he allowed them to pass slowly on to each of his subjects in anger. "Get out, all of you! And don't come back until each of these 'muggles' are dead. And next time, cover up the deaths so this mishap does not happen again."
With the demand asked, each person turned and left the room in a hurry, and the beginning of a war against those of magic, and those of steel began.
----
However, back in the heart of Europe, Hogwarts is still in session, knowing little about the war that is secretly beginning. They are being told not to venture out of the grounds, and while out of the school, strictly wear muggle clothing. Although the professors are trying their best to keep everything hushed, it won't be long until the war is even closer to home. While they slowly are forced to fight a war against a government who wants to demolish all those with the gift, they must decide if they are willing to attempt to stand by those who have slowly proven to not be the good of heart, and wish for only the pure blooded to reign the world.
As new friends are formed, wizards thrown into hiding, and the world once more turned in an uproar, who will win the war? Muggles, or Wizards?
