THE LOOKS
hair color : Blonde eye color : Blue height&weight : 5’9” played by : 136 lbs full appearance :
Cameron, Ron, has never been terribly unfortunate looking but her appearance is easily described as average. She is not a well rounded teenage girl with a large bust and wide hips- instead she is a petite tall frame that doesn’t seem to have a strip of fat on her body. Her hip bones protrude from the spot under her skin and her stomach is sunken slightly. Her arms and legs are boney and when it comes to having a curvature- Ron is about as flat as a board. That might be an exaggeration, but it’s how Ron sees herself.
Ron’s hair tends to change it’s shade of blonde depending on the time of year. For example, during the summer her fine strands of hair turn a light, whitish blonde tone but during the summer her hair darkens to almost a light auburn with a red hue. Cameron usually has her hair long, but she’s been known to tire of it’s length once it starts pushing to past the middle of her back and she will cut it off to her shoulders. Cameron’s hair has a natural wave to it, but when it’s cut short, the weight of her hair is gone and it tends to get curly- really curly.
Typical blonde haired blue eyed girl, Cameron has fair milky skin that seems to burn easily in the sun. Freckles decorate the girl’s face across the bridge of her nose and cheeks in the light dots she was cursed with- or blessed, depending on your opinion of freckles. Cameron’s large baby blue eyes are the type that are blue like the ocean, not the icy or grey blue. They stand out against her pale complexion and light hair, and many people can stop and just say the girl has pretty eyes. There the type that are the first thing you notice about her, whether their dark and sad or full of a bright hue that shows she just had a good day. A slightly upturned nose and an angled jawline- Cameron doesn’t have the high cheek bone or beautiful bone structure, but she does have that unique face that you wouldn’t forget. Or maybe it’s the personality.

Most people in the world don’t know how to take Cameron Lovelace. She is a true blue seventies child that could spend her entire day outside reading a book of poetry, watching the clouds and humming classic blues. In fact, Ron is always humming a song. You probably never hear the girl just being silent. Music pulses through the young woman’s veins and from when she wakes up in the morning, till she ends her days she hears it in footsteps, writing, or the noise Slughorn makes when he’s trying to get into his chair.
Cameron is your typical head in the clouds girl. She’s ignorant and naïve to a lot of things, but when it comes down to the core of it all, Ron is a very intellectual young woman. She reads constantly, but not so much that you don’t ever see her without her nose in a book. She knows a lot about a lot of things, and can be your very own teenage philosopher. She’s not all boring and deep, in fact, Ron is a high spirited girl that is always looking for a bit of mischief to complete her day.
Most anyone would say “Cameron Lovelace- wow, she’s strange”. It might be the girl’s very strange way of thinking, or the fact that every girl in the Hufflepuff dormitory watches her sleep with her head at the foot of the bed wanting to face the North instead of South. But to say the least, Ron is a very unique individual. Anyone who stops and gets to know her would tell you that she is funny, artist, and a very kind hearted young woman. She hardly ever yells unless she is involved in one of her stories and she never gets mad unless she’s pushed past her boiling point- which takes a lot. Ron is the girl that you’d never in a million years want to see mad; it’s frightening, first off, and secondly after she’s finished her moment of rage you’d best be prepared for the worst cold shoulder.
Loyalty runs strongest in Cameron’s veins. Ron’s tendency to be loyal shows her true golden colors as a Hufflepuff. Friendship is what matters more then anything to Ron, it’s a beautiful relationship and even if you screw up, Ron will give you one too many second chances. She wants to form her own opinion of someone, and even if it takes a tenth chance- she might end up just forgiving you in the end. Cameron is a loyal hearted young woman and once you’ve pushed her wall out of the way, she would stick by you to the end even if she didn’t believe what you’ve done was right.
Ron lives for excitement. She just wants to get out into the world and live every day as if it were her last. She hates to think that if she were to die she would life with regrets. Ron can be the life of the party, whether it’s crawling out a window and walking along the edge just to win a bet or if she’s choosing to go swimming despite the giant squid lurking in the Hogwart’s lake. It’s never been there’s nothing Cameron wouldn’t do, more of she couldn’t think of a reason not to.
Cameron would tell you that to be adventurous is in her Scandinavian blood. She would sit you down and tell you an old Finnish folk tale about her ancestors crossing icey waters in their hand made boats- but Vikings no longer reigned the sea and it was no excuse for Ron’s constant want to get out and explore a new place every time she finds herself at a place she’s never been. A Hufflepuff with a twist, eh? Ron is the girl that’s always getting her friends into trouble because of her constant nagging to just sneak out for a few hours, or just wander a little further to get lost. Ron would never tell you, but she loves to get lost- it’s where half the thrill is.
From Ron’s Viking stories, to her vivid daydreams during class- the young woman is easily described as a child, or a dreamer actually. Her imagination runs wild during half the classes and when she’s late for class, Ron can think up the most exciting ‘white lie’ you’d ever heard. Cameron isn’t a liar, and she often admit she is just kidding in time- but when she’s telling her story about how the house elves carried her off to serve as the Hogwarts appetizer for that night, you’d think she was telling the truth. Ron is known for being the classic story teller, she puts her all into it and makes you feel everything she felt, even if it was just a dream or a fib. She usually gets a crack of giggles and snickering or a roll of the eyes telling her to grow up.
THE BEGINNING
ethnicity : Scandinavian Finnish. hometown : London, England. mother and father : Nicholas and Eveliina Lovelace brothers and sisters : None. other relatives : Her grandfather, Tristan. overall history :
Cameron spent most of her childhood in the streets of London. She lived in a boarding home with her father since her mother had died when Cameron was just a babe. It was the type of boarding home that if you wanted you could go into the dining room and the owners would make extras for you to eat with them at the long table. There were only three other families that lived in the boarding house and it was much like a very small hotel where the apartments were cheap and the people were friendly. When she wasn’t out on the street playing with other children in the neighborhood, Cameron was often visiting with the other occupants of the boarding home. She was the only child, and as a blonde haired blue eyes doll- she got a lot of attention.
Three families lived in the home, but there was often a forth visitor that would come and go. Sometimes it was a man that was having problems with his wife, and sometimes it was just a tumble-weed staying for a few weeks. The visitor always varied in their reason for staying in the boarding home. But one year, when Cameron was seven a man came carrying nothing but a guitar and a duffle bag. His hair was long, and most of those that lived in the boarding home frowned upon his leather pants, large sunglasses, and long locks. Ron immediately found the man interesting and struck conversations up with him whenever she got the chance. He had come from the United States and was what they called a ‘hippie’. He named Cameron a wild child as she would sit with him on the steps and the two would talk for hours with the others peering out the window every so on to check on their favorite occupant.
After the man left, he had given Ron her passion for music. He left her with three albums to play of some States artists such as Janis Joplin and a new upcoming band from the Los Angeles area by the name of The Doors. Cameron developed her celebrity crush on Jim Morrison as soon as she heard him sing on the record. He became her muse and before her father knew what to do Ron was walking around with a band tied around her head giving peace signs to everyone and carrying small notebooks to write down in description everything she saw. She began to write poems in the notebooks, sometimes just an excerpt. No father in that time could say he approved but Ron was a ‘wild child’- and she had always marched to her own drum.
When Ron was ten things took a turn for the worse. The day after Christmas, Ron’s father was involved in a terrible car accident near King’s Cross and Ron was sent across the city to live with her grandfather- the only family she had left. Ron’s grandfather, Tristan, was Ron’s mother’s father. He worked in a small tavern called ‘The Leaky Cauldron’ where he cooked for the guests and lived in a very small apartment above it. Never knowing anything from her mother’s past or who her grandfather had even been, Ron was introduced into a word of wands and magic- no joke.
As if the Ministry Of Magic would stand for it- before they could say much of anything, Ron had received a letter to attend the Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Talk about a lot to swallow- Ron, had felt as though her entire life changed within the course of a few months and before she knew what was in store for her she was swept off to a world of magical carriages, a castle for a school, and new adventures. For a ten year old girl with a wild imagination, Ron adjusted easily considering the circumstances. It turned out that Cameron had acquired the magic bloodline from her mother. And though she lived her first ten years as the life of what she would learn to be called a ‘muggle’ she soon became comfortable with her life as a ‘witch’.
When accepted into the house of the Badger, Hufflepuff, Cameron learned it fit her loyal persona well. She quickly made friends, and learned the terms that she had never heard before. After a few months, things seemed to slow, and Cameron used Hogwarts to push the urge to mourn for her father aside. Months became years and Cameron found it impossible to talk about her father she still wasn’t able to let go of. Living arrangements changes, and when Cameron was fifteen she had her grandfather moved into an apartment directly across the street. Summers spent wandering in Diagon Alley and talking with the wanders that came into the Leaky Cauldron, Ron felt as though her life had made a turn to how it had once been but there was always the missing person in her life that would send the girl into a moment of sadness. Tristan did all he could for his granddaughter and made sure she always went well prepared to school even if she had a hard time keeping up her grades. The two developed a close bond over the seven years of living with each other, and Cameron often clings to his side when Tristan is ill in fear she will loose that last family member. Ron’s life isn’t a story book but it’s nothing to brag about, sometimes things happen for unexplainable reasons and Ron is fine with that- for the most part.
THE PUPETEER
your name : Leigh contact : PM for it please. other? : N/A. roleplay example :
Ryan drew small circles on the side of his paper listening to Chance but pretended he wasn’t. It was a bad habit of Ryan’s, refusing to make eye contact when people were talking to him. Ryan looked at his black chipped nail polish and rough calloused finger tips from playing guitar for hours since he had learned how. Ryan’s mother told him that his father would sing and play for her when they were in Italy and that was what had captured her heart. Ryan wasn’t trying to fish some girl up the same way, but ever since he had heard that story he wanted to learn to play the guitar. Then it turned from the acoustic guitar to a beautiful steel six string black and white electric guitar.
Ryan stopped his thoughts on his mother and father when he felt a pair of lips touch his cheek. He didn’t flinch, or jerk in surprise. Instead he kept his eyes on the small circles he was drawing on the lined paper. Ryan’s mind immediately went into overload asking a million questions, wanting to get up and storm out of the library telling Chance to go fuck himself- and that librarian who had given him the ‘medication’ look. Ryan parted his lips and scrapped his teeth across his dry bottom lip, he hated the tenseness between him and Chance. But he what he hated the most was how his mind leapt to the conclusion that Chance was making fun of him because of what Ryan had told him. Taking in a breath Ryan drew one note on the line, then two, then three, then four.
Ryan continued to scratch the notes rapidly onto the lines he had drawn moments before. It was as if the boys lips had given Ryan a burst of creativity- he didn’t look up when Chance said how bad he must have smelled. The fact that Ryan couldn’t deal with people using the same tissue, but could be around Chance twenty-four-seven was amazing. It wasn’t that Chance was diseased- but he had the worst self hygene and drugs, the drugs were a whole other story.
“Don’t fall.” Ryan spoke up finally and glanced at Chance trying to laugh a little. But like always, Ryan thought about the question more and he wanted to shoot himself in the foot for saying it. The shower just brought up the last time Chance came to stay for the night at Ryan’s when he picked him up in his drunken state- that was just asking for another awkward moment. Maybe Chance wouldn’t catch on. Quickly to push the subject aside, Ryan spoke again quickly, “Alk’s going to be in town this weekend, I’m bummed we didn’t get tickets.”
