THE LOOKS
hair color : blonde eye color : blue height&weight : 6'1"&165lbs played by : Martin Groedem full appearance :
The boy stands at 6’1”, taller than most of his peers, well, tall enough to see over crowds of fourth years. Theodore is skinny and somewhat muscular; he doesn’t have a six pack, but his stomach is toned and tight, as are his arms. He’s kind of lanky looking, awkward in the way of appearance. His body is disproportional, his head is smaller in comparison to the rest of his body and his arms are a little too long. But somehow he still manages to get called ‘handsome’ and ‘hot’ by the females – and some males – around Hogwarts. Theodore doesn’t really care much about his appearance, he’s thankful for what he has, but he’s not flaunting himself.
Shaggy blonde hair dangles in front of Teddy’s semi-thick eyebrows. Its technical color would be golden honey blonde, but plain old blonde works swimmingly for him. All he does in the morning is comb it out and shake his head around, creating the ‘I just woke up look’ that most girls crave. Actually, it pretty much always looks like he just woke up, because he doesn’t care much about his hair; it’s just protein after all. His dark blue eyes don’t gleam in the light nor have a hidden story behind them, they just enable his vision. His facial features are rather blunt against his pale skin; high cheekbones and a strong jaw line.
Teddy’s attire is usually just his school uniform or professional clothing. He has a theory; look successful, act successful, be successful. He’ll also wear lounge clothes, most of which are paint spattered, but he just says that he bought the clothes that way… clothing doesn’t give away anything about the mystery of Theodore Nott. He’s not too special to look at, but beneath his plain Jane exterior a heart beats to its’ own tune.

Theodore Gabriel Nott. What could one say about him? Well, the ladies would say he’s sexy, while the gentlemen would say he’s an ass. Both of those accusations are correct, to the public eye. Boys will be boys, right? It is not false to say that Teddy can be an ass to his mates at times, but what boy isn't? There is no doubt that Teddy is good looking, there isn’t a girl in Hogwarts who thinks he’s ugly. A lot of girls have tried, and failed, to get in his pants. But everyone, and I mean everyone, would be stunned to know that he is a virgin. Yes, unlike almost everyone else at Hogwarts, Theodore is saving himself for the right girl. But wait, that doesn’t sound like a Slytherin, who are notorious for being whores, does it? No, it surely doesn’t. But just because Teddy inherited several qualities that Salazar Slytherin possesed doesn’t mean that the boy doesn’t have values.
Teddy is quiet, he always has been. He isn’t one to shout out his opinion at any given moment, instead he is the observer. The boy, who will know a lot about someone, but would never comment on anything in fear of hurting said persons’ feelings. He actually cares about people’s feelings. He may not be one to comfort another, but he will be the listener. His advice sucks, considering the simple lifestyle that he loves, but sometimes all people need are a listening ear and a shoulder to cry one. With his friends, Theodore will talk and have a good time, but he’s one of those kids who are automatically liked by his peers. Teddy hardly puts forth any effort in a friendship; he usually isn’t truly himself anyway.
With only a few spoken words, this Nott can get girls to fall for him. The Nott charm is practically famous around Hogwarts, or so some girls will tell you so. He is quite the gentleman around any female, even one that he dislikes. The manners that were taught at the Nott residence certainly stuck with him; something that would make Daphne, his mother, very proud. He pulls out chairs for his dates, opens doors for all females, always pays for anything that is purchased while with a woman, and is generally just a nice guy. He never went too fast with his past girlfriends and he never made them feel uncomfortable or pressured. Some would actually call him boring just because he isn’t sexually active, but if you ask one of his ex’s, he is an excellent boyfriend.
Like most of the past Nott's, Theodore tears up the Quidditch Pitch. He’s a brilliant player and was taught by his Father how to play a good game of Quidditch. He could fly ever since he could walk and it really shows when he hops on a broom. Only the most expensive and professional equipment is good enough for Vincent’s child. Even though Theodore is good at the game, he doesn’t really enjoy playing it. Yes, it’s a good exercise and has its moments that are enjoyable, but Teddy only plays it to please his Father. Oh how he would do anything to please his Father. Theodore is never truly himself because of his father. I mean, what would Vincent think if he found out his eldest child hated Quidditch and just wanted to paint?
Painting would be his passion, by the way. His skills are adequate, but there are many who are better than him at the craft. Sometimes, he just gets lost in his paintings and will work on them for hours nonstop. He does this in secret of course, usually finding asylum in the Room of Requirement or in an unused classroom. The house elves at the Nott Manor and a few students have known about his painting, but that is it. Daphne, Vincent, his friends, and his teammates are all oblivious to the one thing that he truly loves; painting.
THE BEGINNING
ethnicity : caucasian hometown : Surrey mother and father : Vincent and Daphne Nott brothers and sisters : -- other relatives : A few aunts, uncles, and cousins here and there. overall history :
A childhood spent in moderate silence, Teddy grew up with his parents being MIA a lot. Not that he minded being alone with the house elves, he was just missing what most kids had as they grew up. Aunts and unlces often came to visit, but it was usually just to keep a healthy relationship with the family. Teddy always wanted praise from his mother and father, he tried so damn hard to get them to like him. However, they didn’t really want children in the first place… Theodore was a mistake, and they treated him like one.
Condemned to doing chores that were fit for house elves, Teddy grew up like a muggle. He didn’t mind it much, but his parents friends children often made fun of him and shut him out of their little inner circle. That made his parents even more ashamed of him. Pity, Theodore really was a nice boy growing up, but all the sneers from the other children, all of his parents’ ignorance turned him toward the silent life. Yes, Teddy was a lonely child, and neither of his parents shed a tear when they sent him off to Hogwarts, where he dealt with confusion and teen angst for five years. He joined the Quidditch team, hoping to make his mother and father proud. But his sixth year sucked, majorly.
He had been deeply depressed during his sixth year. There was no known reason for his depression; perhaps stress from his parents or stress from his peers, but whatever it was, it took a toll on him. His thoughts often ran on the line of suicidal, often keeping him up for days on end. The exhaustion was driving him mad and making him angry. Most of the time, he would lie on his bed, doubting that the sun would come out in the morning. Happy things were happening around him; his parents were noticing him, he was making some friends, people were trying to connect with him, but he never thought that these things were real; he never saw the happy side to anything.
His parents began to be concerned; what was wrong with their only child? Not even his little cousins could make him smile and he hardly said a word to anyone. He got into many fights that year, mostly over stupid things, like a wise ass comment, or a dirty look. Vincent and Daphne thought that maybe one of his close friends knew something, but they too were clueless to everything that was going on with Theodore.
But then the day came where Teddy had had enough. He took a long walk while considering ending his life, when he looked up at the sky and changed his perspective. What did he have to be sad about? Fucking nothing! His life was spectacular; he had friends, a nice, not exactly loving, family, and everything he could ask for. Why on Earth was he wasting his time being sad? He started living day by day, writing his words on the face of the moment, waiting one day for someone to make something of them, to paint them. Because when life is hard, you have to change.
I don't feel the suns coming out today It's staying in, its gonna find another way As I sit here in this misery I don't think I'll ever see the sun from here And oh as I fade away, they'll all look at me and say, Hey look at him I'll never live that way But that's ok their just afraid to change
When you feel your life ain't worth living, you've got to stand up and Take a look around you then a look way up to the sky And when your deepest thoughts are broken, keep on dreamin boy cause When you stop dreamin its time to die And as we all play parts of tomorrow Some ways we'll work and other ways we'll play But I know we can't all stay here forever So I want to write my words on the face of today .....And then they'll paint it
And oh as I fade away they'll all look at me and say, Hey look at him and where he is these days
When life is hard you have to change.

It wasn’t a colorful autumn anymore. Leafs had turned and fallen, the absence of color making the grounds of Hogwarts seem dead and tired. In a way, it was dead and tired though. On a bleak Sunday morning, a cold wind was howling louder than Antoinette did on a full moon. The grounds were deserted except for the few brave souls who were traveling to the Black Lake or to a Quidditch practice on the pitch. The outskirts of the Forbidden Forest looked more menacing than usual and not a puff of smoke came out of the chimney at the Gamekeeper’s Hut. Dead, in a way that no activity was taking place on the lawns. No laughter was heard, there were no leaf piles to jump in, and even the grass was dying and turning an ugly gold color. Hell, the Whomping Willow was practically dead – tired, actually – but it didn’t even go after students anymore, it was more than read for its longer winters nap.
Amidst all this, Antoinette was feeling as small as her nickname, Ant. A full moon was coming soon, the rock in the sky being ¾ full as of now, and it was making Ant feel ill. Moon sickness wasn’t very common in the Greyback’s; their blood was so thick with werewolf gene that it was a very rare thing to get sick near the time of transformation. However, Ant was experiencing her first case of moon sickness mixed with a hangover and the need for a cigarette, not the greatest combination. The next Hogsmeade trip was next weekend, which meant that Ant would have to wait for another week until she could get a fresh carton of cigarettes, fuck. Her illness was making her feel a bit delusional, which might explain why she had woken up in a state of panic that morning.
Yes, when Antoinette woke up that morning, she woke up to what she thought was a scream. Her brown eyes searched the room in fear, but she saw nothing that might have made someone scream. That freaked her out; was she imagining things or did the scream really happen? Whatever the answer was, she got dressed in a pair of light denim, factory-destrpyed jeans, a pair of pink Crocs, and an Alice In Wonderland t-shirt and headed off to breakfast. She tried eating a bit of toast and a glass of pumpkin juice, but the moment that she swallowed a bite of toast, she had to run to the toilet before she vomited all over the table, something that her fellow Slytherin’s wouldn’t have appreciated.
After she had tossed her cookies into the toilet, a number of fifth year Hufflepuff’s sent fat jokes at her and told her that if she gave into bulimia that she would get a man. Now that just pissed Antoinette off, she knew she wasn’t fat and wasn’t about to let these little girls know that she was mad. She merely flicked her wand at them and watched them hang from the ceiling by their feet; ah, wordless magic really was something. Her anger was simmering down, but she was still mad. She needed to get some fresh air, literally. So Antoinette went to the one place where nobody else would be; the Whomping Willow. She positioned herself against the tree, her eyes staring at the lake ahead of her. Ant flattened her straightened hair down and took a deep breath, her stomach felt slightly better, thank God.
Her mascara covered lashes blinked a few times as she took in the silence and the clean smelling air around her. For all the havoc that Ant caused, she sure enjoyed basking in the peace of her surroundings. Of course, nobody was around her to provoke her mischievous side, and she really was in no state to cause any chaos anyway. Her head leaned back against the tree, her eyes looking to the sky before shutting quickly in horror; yes, the moon would be full soon enough, this was going to be a bad and painful transformation, she could feel it. Her tongue slid along her upper teeth slowly. Yes, this was going to be a painful transformation, her canine teeth were already growing into their notorious fang appearance. Ant swore she wasn't going to cry, but she was so sick of being tough.
