Name: Jason (Jase) Leigh Hayes

Age&Year:17, year 7

Appearance: He is tall and rather thin, he has overgrown reddish hair that often falls over his eyes. He has an uncanny way of making his brown eyes sparkle when he comes up with a mischievous idea. There are faint traces of freckles on his cheeks and around his nose. He generally wears quite ordinary clothes, jeans, t-shirts, that is, whenever he isn't malignantly forced into wearing school uniform.

Personality: Lively and energetic, finds everything irresistibly funny. Is very intelligent, but simply can't be bothered to work. He seems very happy most of the time, but also has a dark, depressed and confused side that nobody ever sees. He is deeply involved in the whole Davey thing, and so has been through many terrible things. He still tries to keep smiling, as someone that others look up to, he can't afford to drop his mask of happy, carefree trouble maker.

History:His mother is Irish and his father is Welsh, He lived most of his life in Limerick. He used to know Davey, and since his death, he has been considerably quieter, and less of a bouncing ball of energy.
In the past few years, many things have happenned to him, terrible events that have slowly worn down his carefree character. His best friend, Davey has died and become a murderous ghost, another of his friends, Mist almost lost the use of her legs when Davey dropped a chandelier on her, because of him, a group of his friends ventured into the forest where they were ambushed by Davey and Adrian. The only way he could think of saving them was to burn down the forest. He did this, but tragedy soon struck, his friend, Casimir was caught in the fire and lost the use of his eyes. So naturally, Jase leads a completely guiltridden life. Recently, some information on how to defeat Davey has come to light, that someone has to journey into the realms of death to destroy him. jase has voluteered for this task. Basically, he has to kill himself or somehow enter a coma to save the school. A lot of responsibility falls on him now.

Other: Jase has a pet frog called Toast and he was in a band called One Ring with Lynne and another student who has now left the school. He has had a girlfriend who has also left and due to rather strange circumstances, he has also kissed Casimir.
