Title: Rebel, rebel. (Open!)

scarlette - April 8, 2008 02:01 PM (GMT)
To Caspian it felt like he had done nothing interesting his whole life. This, of course, wasn't true, it was only the past month or so that his life had been completely devoid of drama and action. But it felt like forever. For weeks his routine had consisted of waking up, going to classes, eating at mealtimes, sleeping at night-time, maybe talking a bit with his friends. And that was it. The last interesting thing he had done was randomly snog that hippy girl, and that was ages ago.
So he had taken a stand, decided that if interesting stuff didn't happen to him, then he'd just have to do interesting stuff of his own accord. It had been hard to think of things that would get him attention or just make him feel cool. He would have come up with something with Casimir if his supposed best-friend hadn't been all loved up with that gay-boy, Jason. Besides, Casimir seemed to be doing fine creating his own drama, breaking hearts everywhere he went. And Caspian's general opinion of him was now something along the lines of "What a twat."
It was all so frustrating and it made Caspian want to rebel.
Which was why he was down in the dungeon at two in the morning painting a mural on the wall. His artistic skills weren't amazing, but he wasn't terrible. It was quite cathartic, and it made him feel alive, so as he painted he had a slightly demonic smile on his face. He was happy with the idea he had come up with for the mural as well, unaware that it might appear insensitive.
It showed what looked like a normal school assembly at Trenton, the roughly drawn students all sitting down, their faces turned towards the headmaster, only the subject of their attention wasn't Prof. Albino. He was wearing the same clothes as him, standing in the same way, but on a closer look it became apparent that it was actually Davey, the ghost. To the impostor headmaster's right stood Adrian's ghost, attired as the school secretary, in horn rimmed glasses and a bright pink skirt and jacket, slowly taking notes with a sparkly pen. As Caspian finished Adrian's ghostly form fading away into a pair of fuschia, high-heeled shoes, he stood back, admiring his work in satisfaction.
"I am so cool," he said to himself proudly.

Matt - April 19, 2008 09:09 AM (GMT)
Dexter had been in the dungeon from about ten. It was more than just curiosity that had lead him down there tough. It was several things in fact. He was exploring the last parts of the school, having all ready drawn maps, blueprints of the rest of it. Also he needed a place where he could 'meditate', he had not been in 'the zone' as he called it fore some time. And last of all as he had been passing by the entrance to the dungeon he was certain he had seen a ghost swoop down into the darkness.
How ever after hours of exploration he herd the bleep on his watch that indicated th hour. He looked at his wrist and saw that his watch said twelve. He had worked up a light sweat and as he stood there in the darkness with nothing but he usual creepy noises you get in dungeons and the coolness of the air on his skin. He sat down and in a state of utterer calm mentally pictured the whole school, he walked through all its corridors and into the rooms. his mental map was just as good as his sketches.

He awoke from his state with the awareness that some one had joined him in the dungeons. He silently moved to wards the presence. When he got to the location he saw someone painting the wall. The mural was good an assembly at the school. After watching the boy who looked vaguely familiar, possibly some one from the same year as himself, add his finishing touches, Dexter decided to make himself noticed.

With soft foot steps he walked up beside the artist and matter factually announced "Its good".

Othala - April 19, 2008 09:59 AM (GMT)
ooc: Do you guys mind if I join?

Lynne also couldn't sleep. Her state of mind had changed dramatically over the past few months. She was no longer bogged down and melancholly from unrequited love but instead she seemed to be walking through a dream.

Nothing was tangilble anymore. It was if everything around her, from the hard ground up to the normally solid rock of the school and even her fellow classmates where all ghosts. Like Davey's death had been an infection that spread throughout the school. Lynne felt like if she reached out to touch something her fingers would pass right through it.

So she had walked, through the eerie corridors, into every empty classroom. She had even passed through the rows of tables in the cavernous cafeteria. Finally her walk led her to the dungeons. When she had first started here the place had creeped her out but she soon came to realise that nowhere in the school was more dangerous than anywhere else.

It was then she saw the two boys there. For one wild moment she thought it was Davey and Adrian but as she got closer her fear subsided.

"Nice picture Picasso" she commented, looking up at it "Very apt"

scarlette - April 23, 2008 08:11 PM (GMT)
Ooc: Not at all :)

Caspian's first reaction on realizing he wasn't alone was to drop his brush and back rapidly into the farthest corner of the dungeon, his eyes searching the darkness frantically for the source of those voices that had practically scared him out of his skin. It was a bit of a cowardly way to act, but Caspian wasn't exactly brave when it came to spooky dungeons at night. Firstly this place creeped him out because a teacher could appear at any time and catch him at his illegal doings, and secondly because this was where his sister had been possessed/attacked by Davey all that time ago.
It didn't take long for common sense to drown out his fear. He realized that the voices had been teenage ones, and in the gloom he could make out their forms, that seemed solid, so they weren't teachers or ghosts. Which was good.
Now he was aware that he was in no immediate danger, Caspian felt a little embarrassed. He hid it though by strolling out of the corner nonchalantly, grinning, proud that they had acknowledged his work.
"Yeah, I know. It's a masterpiece. Even if I say so myself," he replied, half in jest.
"So..." he said in a lazy drawl, eyeing his fellow night-wanderers, "Who do we have here?...I know you," he motioned to the girl. It took him a moment to remember her name, because although they moved in the same circles and had many of their friends in common, he had never really gotten to know her intimately.
"You're Lynne, and you," he turned to the boy who he found slightly intimidating, "Nope, sorry dude, haven't got the slightest idea who you are. Are you new or something?" he asked, not really caring too much if he got an answer.
Still, at least now he had company, which meant that if he did meet Davey down here, he might not be the first to go.

Othala - April 24, 2008 11:28 AM (GMT)
"Yeah and you're Caspian" nodded Lynne as she recognised him "What exactly are you doing down here anyway?"

scarlette - May 1, 2008 11:56 AM (GMT)
Caspian spread his hands, standing up straight with the air of a diplomat as he explained in a detailed manner what he was doing.
"I am breaking away from the oppressive and totalitarian system that controls many of my peers. I do not agree with Davey's reign of fear and the way we react to it, or the obsessive nature of the students of this school. I am protesting, albeit in a minor, alternative kind of way against all this," he stated professionally, making it sound rehearsed, even though in the reality he was coming up with it off the top of his head.
Dropping the serious expression and manner of a political demonstrator, he smiled like a normal person again.
"Care to join me?" he suggested amiably, holding out a couple of paintbrushes he had brought along, inviting them to partake in his illegal artwork.

Matt - May 3, 2008 03:47 PM (GMT)
Dexter was amused by the the boys/Caspian as he was called. He seemed to know about the a ghost maybe the same one he himself had seen before wondering down in to the dungeons.
He offered his hand to Caspian as he decided it was best to introduce himself, "Dexter" he said then "No thanks" as he refused the brush. His hands were slightly sweaty from his exercise and wounded if the other boy would comment, if he realized.

Dexter then focused on Lynne. "Lynne thats a nice name" he mentioned it matter factually. Then began wondering about the ghost, Davey.

Othala - May 4, 2008 02:55 PM (GMT)
"Sure" shrugged Lynne, taking a spare brush "I'll tell you now though, Van Gogh I ain't" she grinned.

"Dexter's a nice name too by the ay" she smiled back at their companion.

Matt - May 10, 2008 06:38 PM (GMT)
Dexter watched as the art work was continued. It was soothing, he leaned back against the cold, damp stone wall of the dungeon. he contemplated, and as he looked at the painting many questions flew through his mined. What had happened to Davey in the forest? Why did he terrorize the students?

Dexter decided he wanted to become informed. Casually he spoke, openly so that anyone may have answered. "So whats his story?" he asked nutritionally as he pointed at Davey in the picture.

Othala - May 11, 2008 10:00 AM (GMT)
"You haven't been here long have you?" smiled Lynne "It happened before my time. He wandered into the woods but he didn't come back out"

scarlette - May 13, 2008 11:11 PM (GMT)
Caspian silently mouthed the words to Lynne's last sentence. He had heard it before so many times, it felt like he knew Davey's whole story off by heart, despite always trying not to take an interest in it.
"It's a pretty cool way to die though, you must admit. It's mysterious and a bit alternative. That's how I'd like to go. Leave everyone wondering after I'm gone," he said a bit distractedly as he moved onto another wall and started painting a large tree that could have been mistaken for a firework or a vertical porcupine.
"Oh wait, I can't go into the forest and never come out because....uh...someone burned it down," he muttered, only just managing to prevent himself from going into an anti-Casimir rant.

Matt - May 14, 2008 05:10 PM (GMT)
Dexter froze as he heard some of the words he most feared 'burned down', his heart raced and stopped, he felt dizzy and disorientated. Flashes blinded him, flashes of the past of his own experiences with fire.
He slid down the wall as his legs no longer supported him, he was sweating profusely it ran down his face, his hair was damp and his clothes clung to him. He panted slowly as he tried to calm him self.

Finally Dexter got control of himself, "Ye, I saw the mess, such a shame. What happened with it anyway?" he asked trying to recover a normal state.

Othala - May 15, 2008 12:46 PM (GMT)
"Are you okay?" asked Lynne with concern. As soon as fire was mentioned he had seemed to take a funny turn.

Matt - May 16, 2008 11:35 AM (GMT)
Dexter felt awful, however he had gained control of himself. "Ye, I think its just the fumes from the paint making me dizzy." It was a lie, but not a total lie, the smell of paint was present.

Dexter helped himself to his feet and walked to the wall which had all ready been painted and stared blankly at it. He was still thinking about the now non existent forest.

Othala - May 16, 2008 03:00 PM (GMT)
"Davey attacked a group of students" answered Lynne, not betraying her involvement "One of the fought back by lighting the place on fire"

scarlette - May 19, 2008 06:46 PM (GMT)
Caspian smirked at the mention of the fire. He had been as scarred by it at first as anyone, even more so, seeing as Casimir, who was practically his brother had been blinded in it. Now though he had convinced himself to look at it lightly. It was his new philosophy. Because if you don't take anything seriously, just go around mocking the world, you're not going to get hurt.
"Yeah, we have some idiots in our school. I think that psycho, Jason might have a few screws loose. Complete pyromaniac. I bet he burns things just for fun...Nut-case," he replied contemptuously.
He reached for the red paint and started to coat the wall in violent looking flames. His brush strokes became faster and faster, so much so that it seemed for a moment like the fire was actually in the room. Caspian could practically feel it scorching his face.

(Ooc: Lol, paint fumes. Remind you of anything, Matt? Oh, and if you want Dexter to go all pyro and crazy and attack Caspian now, that's fine by me.)

Matt - May 19, 2008 07:16 PM (GMT)
Dexter contemplated, as Caspian furiously painted the images on the wall. Fire was such a powerful element. It evolved mankind from the begging, and know century's later it destroys them. It was rater ironic.

Dexter realizing he had heard some story's about Jason all ready decided to inquire. "Jason, he the guy who hangs around with Casimir?"

Othala - May 20, 2008 04:11 PM (GMT)
"Casimir is abroad right now" Lynne chipped in "And Jason didn't burn down the forest"

She didn't like the idea of these two critisising her friend. They were both hard at work tracking down a way to sop Davey and she took it personally that these guys thought the whole thing was a big joke.

Matt - May 20, 2008 07:04 PM (GMT)
Dexter thought he observed a slight twinge of offense in Lynne's voice. Did she know Casimir and Jason? Were they perhaps friends?
He decided to neutralize any offense he may have given, he was not trying to slag anyone off, he had merely asked a question.

"Sorry if I seem a bit well..."he stopped to fined the ideal word"forward, I'm just like that."he said apologetically.

Othala - May 25, 2008 10:45 AM (GMT)
Lynne immediately felt guilty.

"No it's my fault" she said, apologetically "The subject always sets me on edge a bit. It's only natural that you'd want to know what goes on here. There's no need to worry though. Davey hasn't been active in months"

Matt - May 27, 2008 02:12 PM (GMT)
Dexter observed as Lynne almost instantly apologized. He admired the quickness and what was sourly erst in the reapply.
Dexter then turned his thoughts back to Davy. "Good" he stated in a state of relief hearing that the ghost was not an immediate danger. Then as he a small silence crossed the dungeon he thought he herd a noise. "Did you here that" he whispered frantically. "I think some one els is in the dungeon" he added dramatically, even though the realization of what was happening had only just struck him.

scarlette - May 29, 2008 09:48 PM (GMT)
"Oh christ..." Caspian sighed, spinning around to scan their surroundings for any ghostly apparition, dropping his paint-brush in a panicked gesture that he tried vaguely to conceal.
I'll freakin' kill that nut-case if he tries to come between me and my art," he muttered, spreading his hands and bowing low with the air of a French "artiste." He straightened up and waltzed around the room, trying to appear spontaneous and natural, to hide the feeling of dread that was slowly starting to crawl up his spine.
As he swept passed Lynne he grabbed her hands, pulling her into the lazy dance. It didn't feel as unnerving if there was someone else near, but though he tried to smile and be all suave and sophisticated, he couldn't keep his eyes from roving around the room.
"This is where he got my sister...well...almost, some girl saved her by singing to Davey. Can any of you sing?" He asked, drifting away from his random dance partner.
"Not that I'm scared or anything, it would just be good to have some sort of...insurance."

Matt - May 30, 2008 08:29 PM (GMT)
Dexter's face was solemn he knew he should not be down here at this hour or at all for that matter. He admired the calm attitude of Caspian, though he did not think that any of them could be calm.

Then noises came again, it was awkward standing tens ready to fight if necessary, even though he doubted the possibility of being able to fight a ghost. With Caspian dancing with Lynne the whole situation seemed unreal.

Dexter concentrated hard, when the noise came again he was able to distinguish it, footsteps, coming down the stairs. Maybe a teacher or student had walked past the dungeon door and smelt the paint.

"Someone is coming down, they fined us straight away if we stay here, and if its a teacher were in trouble." whispered Dexter who was no longer tens. He promptly headed towards the shadows and the depth of the dungeons that he had been in before finding the artist. "Come on" he gestured to them to follow him.

scarlette - June 2, 2008 02:06 PM (GMT)
Caspian didn't hesitate, not even to check if Lynne was following, he was too preoccupied with his own safety for that. He followed Dexter into the shadows, stooping slightly so as not to be seen in the gloom. He was glad for the presence of another male figure as he didn't fancy his chances fighting against any murderous villain. The only type of combat he was trained in was fencing, and that was hardly useful as there was a definite lack of sharp objects that could be used as swords.
"Please tell me you're a karate master or something," he whispered hurriedly to Dexter, stepping behind him for cover.
A figure stepped into the dungeon, loomed in shadow, their face indistinguishable in the dark. Caspian could just make out traces of shaggy dark hair and a glint in semi-obscured eyes.
"Hey there, kids," a sinister voice echoed round the walls, inspiring nausea and terror in Caspian.

(ooc: Maybe this "figure" could be an npc, a possible suspect in Davey's murder? Major drama opportunity here peope!)

Matt - June 2, 2008 04:07 PM (GMT)
(Ooc: brilliant idea, so major drama, lets make it happen!)

Dexter went into stealth mode as the voice of the intruder echoed strongly and sinistrally round the dungeons. Caspian joined him at his side and whispered nervously.( "Please tell me you're a karate master or something,")
"Actually yes, but I think nows the time to go ninja." replied Dexter with a hint of irony in his voice.

Heavy footsteps sounded on the dungeon floor, a rough breathing came from where they had been moments ago. Dexter edged further into the shadows, then whispered to Caspian in an informant voice. "Male, big wheres boots, middle aged."

Dexter was shore about these facts the voice was certainly a mans, the silhouette told him he was big, plus the heavy footsteps caused by his boots and the rough breathing was of an aging person, but not an old one.

Dam we are in trouble he thought, this person did not match a description of any teacher he knew."You know any one with that description" he asked discreetly still in a whisper. Then notice in a stir in the air and a presence coming close he moved against he wall.

Othala - June 2, 2008 07:16 PM (GMT)
"No one that I know of" Lynne whispered back. She was scared but also curious.

"There's more of us than here are of him" Lynne continued "I knowkick boxing" she added to reassure them with a twinkle in her eye.

"What's the plan?"

Matt - June 3, 2008 08:52 AM (GMT)
Dexter thought, his mined was working on how to get out of this situation. Attacking who ever this person was did not seem wise. The best option was to get out of the dungeon and fast. The problem was that the figure was still near the stairs, it would not be easy to get past.

"How fast do you think you can run?" he whispered back to his companions. "I think we should get out of hear fast...ninja style". Dexter had formulated the plan, stay in the shadows, then bang the wall to distract the being and run along the dark walls to the stairs in a matter of seconds.

"Hold my hand" he uttered hurriedly,"Oh, and I'm not gay" He added to Caspian with a tinge of humor in his voice. Dexter's mined and body where ready for the challenge.

He took of smashing the wall hard and lowed with his fist then dashed to the opposite wall. He made know other sounds, it was like slow motion as he glided past the figure. That is the rest of the world were, he was in fast motion.
He stopped as he felt the warmer air and the hum of silence of the corridor out side the dungeon door.He was out and in less than a few seconds, his martial art training was of good use to him after all.

(Ooc is it ok if your characters were dragged out by him too? if not its ok too.)

Othala - June 5, 2008 06:50 PM (GMT)
Lynne was in two minds. half of her wanted to find out who the starnger in the dungeon was and the other half wanted to get out ASAP. Finally, sense won out and she hurried after Matt quickly.

Matt - June 5, 2008 07:32 PM (GMT)
Dexter was panting out of breath from running up the stairs. He was glad to see Lynne hurrying up to him. The mans voice sounded from down in the dungeon but the words were drowned by echo.

Then as though there weren't enough problems the sharp sound of high heels sounded on the stone floor. It would be a teacher four shore, and there was no way he should be out of the dorm at this hour, never mined the fact he was standing out side a dungeon door with a load of graffiti and some freaky figure.

Dexter had two choices non of which he liked, he could stay trapped by the dungeon door and be confronted by who ever was coming to wards him, or go back in to the dungeons with the man.

scarlette - June 18, 2008 07:46 PM (GMT)
Caspian skidded round the corner, almost crashing into Lynne and Dexter in his haste to get away from the potential danger. He could still hear heavy foot-falls behind him, they came slowly, as if the mysterious figure in the dungeon was in no great hurry to pursue them, and yet somehow that only served to make them seem more menacing. The sound of him came closer and closer. Caspian shuddered at the thought of that gaunt, pale face and shadows that obscured his eyes. He remembered the slight glint f yellowing teeth in the moonlight and moved closer to his companions.
Dexter seemed to have noticed something down the corridor. He looked into the moon-speckled gloom. Then he heard it. The threatening sound of stilettos on stone.
A figure appeared at the end of the corridor, barely visible in her black garments. She stepped into a shaft of light so Caspian could see her properly, and he was both surprised and unnerved at the same time.
But, being Caspian after all, his first reaction was to whisper to Dexter-
"Wow...she's hot."
Her skin was a light coffee colour, in contrast to her companion's paper-white visage, but her eyes sparkled an icy blue, so light they verged on white. She smiled and Caspian perceived the recognizable flash of a tongue piercing. She turned and looked at them, as if seeing them for the first time. Her slim figure jolted as if in shock, then, seeming to remember what she was doing here, her expression settled into a more business-like one.
"Honey, there are some kids here...reckon they'll be of any use?" she called down the passage-way.
The eerie man appeared behind them, surveying them, a crooked smile splitting his features.
"Well...we can't exactly let them go now they've seen us," he replied in a low murmur, stepping into the middle of the corridor the block any attempts at escape.

"Oh shit..." Caspian muttered.

Matt - June 19, 2008 04:12 PM (GMT)
Dexter was glad to see Caspian finally come up out of the dungeons. The sound of the high heels stooped as a woman came out of the gloom of the corridor. Caspian whispered inappropriately to Dexter Wow...she's hot.Dexter had no comment for this bizarre statement and remind silent. Aware of the fact they were cornered in between the woman and the man, who was know coming slowly up the dungeon steppes.
The woman called past them to the man Honey, there are some kids here...reckon they'll be of any use?, the tall big figure of a man with rugged features replied Well...we can't exactly let them go now they've seen us,
Dexter knew now that they were definitely in deep trouble, and not the kind for braking curfew. Oh shit muttered Caspian this time his words were more appropriate.

Dexter had become poised ready to fend off any unwanted contact from the man. Dexter's cold green eyed stare met with the ice blue ones of the tanned woman. She was evil he coled scene it, it was in her eyes on her skin and flowing through her veins.

scarlette - June 30, 2008 11:02 PM (GMT)
An incessant loop of swearwords was passing through Caspian's mind, so fast he could barely distinguish one from the other. This was bad. This was really freaking bad.
This couple were psychotic, completely out of their minds. He couldn't see any weapons on them, but this was hardly a relief, they looked like they could tear him apart with their bare hands.
"Buy some time, idiot, just get them talking. It's your only chance." an intuitive voice echoed through his head. It was a good idea, he could talk anyone to the grave if he wanted to.
Dexter had muscles, Lynne had her mind, but Caspian wasn't completely useless, he had his mouth. His secret weapon.

"Hey, hey wait a minute. We're not going to be any trouble, seriously. We're just, you know, sight-seeing. What are you guys doing here anyway? You're a bit old to be students," he began, adding suavely with a wink at the woman-"Although you don't look any the worse for it."

They did look like the kind of maniacs who'd feel inclined to tell them their evil plan before killing them. They reminded him of Bond villains, which implied that they were in for a long story, complete with occasional evil cackles. Either that or they were going to have the shit kicked out of them.

Othala - July 6, 2008 07:54 PM (GMT)
Lynne guessed what Caspian was doing.

Good plan she thought, oit looked like this was going to be a sticky situation.

Matt - July 8, 2008 08:46 AM (GMT)
Dexter hadn't court on to what Caspian was doing, it seemed to him that he was flirting, allowing the danger to build up the more time passed. It was a madness.
The it clicked, Caspian was staling for time time for us he was trying to sweet talk his way out. But would it work, Dexter could sense the two closing in on them.
Dexter's mined worked up a quick plan, they could mack another runner. All they had to do was simply dash past the woman, they could push her aside if need be and run like hell. The woman would not be able to give chase in high heels, and the man had been slow so far, judging buy his build he wouldn't be able to keep up with three fit teenagers.

The plan was destroyed before he could inform the others. The woman spoke "We don't have time to chat" she calmly uttered to us with a malicious tone and expression. "Trow them back in the dungeon, well deal with them later." the first part of the sentence was spoken lowed, and directed as an order to the creepy man. The second part more quietly with a threatening sense to them.

Dexter felt the annoyance of the escape plan being shattered and at the same time the danger of the present, he moved close to Caspian and Lynna. They needed each other to get out of this.

Dexter dashed back, trying to drag the others too as the man mad an enormous grab at them with his huge arms.

Othala - July 8, 2008 04:25 PM (GMT)
"Just you try" yelled Lynne slamming her foot into the guy's left knee cap. Dexter tugged at them both and Lynne didn't need telling twice as she broke into a run with them

"How did nutters like that get into our school?" said Lynne breathlessly.

scarlette - July 15, 2008 02:35 PM (GMT)
Caspian broke into a run behind the other two but he was finding it hard to keep up. He felt himself weakening, as if all the energy was being sucked out of him. He glanced behind to see if they were being followed.
The menacing couple hadn't moved, only the woman had her hand out, the flat of her palm facing towards him. They were smiling at each other, evidently unperturbed by their escape. Caspian turned and carried on running, wanting to get away from them as soon as possible.
He was about to turn the corner when he felt a sharp pain in his back. He cried out, stumbled and fell to the floor with a crash. Turning his head around, barely able to move for agony, he saw a large dagger protruding from his side. A bloodstain was spreading out from the point where it had pierced his flesh. The blade was in deep, and he knew even now that he was unlikely to survive. Out of the corner of his weary eyes he saw the couple turn and run off into the darkness.
Tears poured out of his eyes from both pain and grief. He didn't want to die, not yet. He wanted a hot girlfriend, he wanted to get drunk and party into the small hours of the morning, go on holiday to Ibiza, get incredibly rich and famous. Not die in some gloomy school corridor.
He curled up, his knees brought up to his chest, as the warm blood dripped onto the stone floor. He opened his mouth and screamed. Screamed until the world went black.

Othala - July 15, 2008 07:47 PM (GMT)
The world slowed down as Lynne looked back and saw Caspian crumple onto the floor.

"Stop!" she heard herself shriek as she skidded to a halt on the cold stone floor. Her heart was beating furiously and she could feel the blood throbbing in her veins.

He's dead...they killed him...he's dead...they killed him...

She didn't know what to do. Her common sense told her to leg it, to get away from these maniacs but she couldn't just leave him lying there...there was a small chance, the tinest of hopes that he was strong, that he would pull through.

Matt - July 15, 2008 08:33 PM (GMT)
Dexter was running down the corridor as fast as he could sticking with his companion fugitives. He was glad that Lynna had spared them from the grips of the monstrous man, by delivering a bone rattling kick to his stomach.

The woman had seemingly no interest in stopping them her self, he had run past her with no problem. However it worried him she had evil plotting eyes, eyes that showed control.

Dexter ran he was along side Caspian, who didn't run as fast as he could nether the less he would not leave him behind. There was a quick movement from behind, out of nowhere the woman had produced a knife, he saw it in her hand for a split second than it was gone.
Dexter noticed a flash of the metallic blade gleam in the light, as it slashed his left forearm but it was impossible he had not seen the throw. It had been in her hand then slashing him.

Dexter had now time to feel the pain of the slice that had riped his shirt sleeve and cut his flesh of his left forearm. The knife carried on and into Caspian's side who was a few steps ahead of him. Dexter felt utter dismay at not been able to some how have seen the blade, to prevent its flight, to move both him and Caspian out of the way. But all Dexter could do was observe in horror as the blade stuck into Caspian's side and watch as he crumpled to the floor, his crimson blood already gushing from the wound.
Dexter looked ahead to Lynna with his green eyes pleading for help then he turned his eyes to the rapidly dieing Caspian with a knew look one of grim serious severity and finally to the couple who were walking a way a look of confused anger.

Othala - July 16, 2008 09:00 PM (GMT)
"Help! somebody HELP!" Lynne ylled over and over as she rushed to Caspian's side.

"I'll try and stop the blood, you get help. NOW!"

Matt - July 16, 2008 09:36 PM (GMT)
Dexter didn't move he was paralyzed with shock, he had blood running down his hand as he knelt beside the crumpled boy Caspian.

There was only one thing on his mined and it was driving him mad. Leave knife in or take knife out. Leave knife in or take knife out. Leave knife in or take knife out.It played through his head over and over again, it played in his head repeating its self forward and backwards until every thing became a huge blur of confusion that drowned out his scenes.
