Name: Catrina Lichen, but she goes by Cat. Some call her Catherine to annoy her.

Age&Year: 14&5th

Appearance: At Trenton, there are many boys who like Cat, and you can see why. She has an average build, and stands at about five foot five. But even if her height is nothing prominent, her hair certainly is. Miss Lichen has fiery red hair that falls just below her shoulders. It is naturally curly, and she often has a hard time trying to tame it. By using curling cream after a shower, she can manage. She has an accidental fringe, one might say, because when she, Jase, and Casimir burned down the forest some of her hair was singed off. Now it just looks like she has bangs, but they are slightly crooked. Underneath her hair, she has round and wide emerald eyes. She has a small mouth and a little upturned nose. On her teeth she has braces, but they rarely stay the same color for long. She brushes them frequently so underneath the railroad tracks they are quite white.

Cat likes fashion, but the things she does often don't allow for her to wear what is currently fashionable. She owns nice clothes, yet most of the time she is dressed in black straight-leg jeans, dark hoodies, and bright red Converses. This is her typical sleuthing outfit, and wears it at night especially because it's dark. During the day, she'll wear anything. Obviously Trenton has a uniform, so at school she always adorns that -even if she never tucks her shirt in- but after school, you can find her in a wide array of bright clothing.

Personality: Even though she may be small, you really shouldn't underestimate Catrina Lichen. Your first impression of her is that she is super-friendly, and very outgoing. She loves to talk, and wants to make all new people feel welcome. In fact, she likes most people, and tries to see the good in everyone. The only times she doesn't like people are when they are manwhores, hopeless flirts, and just plain stuck up or mean. On the surface, she seems like a very happy girl.

Her hobbies include acting, playing grass hockey, and being with her friends. She is very loyal, and will defend her closest friends time and time again. In fact, she won't hesitate to throw a punch at someone who laughs at anyone she loves. The girl is quite smart, though, explaining why she is one year up. She entered Trenton a year early because the staff thought she was bright enough to handle the advanced coursework. Another hobby of hers is acting, and she absolutely adores it. She used to have stage fright, but has totally conquered it now, and can go on stage with no fears at all.

But every rose has its thorns, however, and Cat is no exception. She is definitely not perfect. It is a common cliche that people with red hair often have red-hot tempers, but Cat really does. She will totally explode at you if you catch her on a bad day or just anger her in general. Along with that is her stubborn nature. It is hard to convince her that she's wrong, and if she decides to do something it is almost impossible to get her to stop. She'll keep going until she gets what she wants.

Another big problem is her guilt. She is under the impression that it was her fault Davey died, since he was her cousin and she dared him to go into the woods. So she thinks it's her fault that he is now wreaking havoc on the school, even though her friends try to tell her that it wasn't. She is starting to think she's losing her mind because of all this madness around her.

History: Cat Lichen was born on October 19th, to two loving parents, Michael and Jane Lichen. She already had an older sister, Marguerite, who was three years her senior. They live in a small two-story house on the outskirts of Edinburugh, Scotland, with a large yard and a pond. She gets on relatively well with her parents, even if she isn't that close to them because she is away at school most of the year. Her sister, on the other hand, is a different story entirely. Cat and Marguerite despise each other. They can't be in the same room for more than a minute without fighting about something or other. She is secretly happy that Marg has graduated from Trenton and is heading off to university in Southern France next year.

Growing up, Cat was very bright for her age. She could talk quicker than most children her age, and she was very loud. Her parents thought she was a natural actress, and at elementary school she did many acting classes along with grass hockey.
