- Lefevre - a derivation of the French occupational name Fevre, which described an iron-worker or smith. From the Old French "Fevre" meaning craftsman. Iron known as a metallic element that is malleable and ductile but also shows a harsh character; strong and unyielding. If put together with a bit of creativeness, Lefevre Academy is a school that helps develops better "people" for the future.
The School of Espionage
- Being operated by the government, this school was once top secret. About five years ago, a young student by the name of Bryce Webbing leaked out the media about the school. Revealing to the public that this school was never about making better "people". Instead, it was about making better and more disposable spies for the American Agency. Where did you think they got 'em? K-mart?
Lefevre Academy is located near Fairbanks, Alaska and is a prestigious school; known for their academic achievements, sports, staff, and student body. This school is one of the best schools in the nation. Not to mention, the extensive physical endurance you learn. They give you simulations, run through the motions; stopping briefly to make sure you're still alive and start again.
The age of the students range from 16 to 25 showing that this school is a mixture of teens and young adults. However, admission to this school is rare. Once a year, the academy opens it’s administration office to the world and accepts all the applications it receives. From there, each application is looked over and is either placed in an accepted folder or a rejected bucket. Upon being accepted, an interview is shortly taken place by the entire Academy staff to see if that person was lying or telling the truth. It's a grueling process, filled with questions about personal life, family, and such. With practice 24/7, the real question is, can they take it? If they find you somewhat ill, defected, or too weak you're eighty-six-ed and left for the real world. If that person passes their interview and agree to the terms, they are given a contract before they are officially accepted into the Academy.
Welcome to Lefevre Academy! A prestigious school where things are not what they seem. The school it self seems to take place in a different world and time. Where the campus is ruled by four teams: Team BOND, Team ADOBE, Team FULCRUM, and Team DEVANT. The administration assigns you to a team based on where they believe your personality and skills would fit best. Yes, there is a difference between the teams. Some focus on strength, others value intellect and teamwork. Different teams, different values, huge rivalries, especially between Fulcrum and Bond. These teams go up against each other in ‘friendly’ competition, they train their bodies for the position they have chosen, and attend classes.
However, the school has its secrets. The Council, one of the buildings located on the campus grounds that is guarded 24/7. This building is the source where myths and rumors are created. It's said only a few go in, even rumors of team leaders, but the few who know what goes on behind that locked door is sworn to secrecy. It must be a big secret, because the last boy to tell was condemned of treason. There are things going on in the school, secrets that are begging to be discovered. In a school full of geniuses, finding them out will be easy compared to living to tell the tale.
