` straight for the deep end )

She goes straight,
straight for the deep end
Doesn't hesitate to dive right in
Be careful now,
Be careful now

Imagine a sophisticated and elegant looking building, covered in ivy, with a forest as a background. There was a pond right in front of the main building, it covered most of the area there, and to the side as well. That year, 1866, was the first year that the school opened. A month before the students were able to graduate and move on with their lives, a girl died in the school. She was found by her roommate and best friend, in a bathroom, in the main building. The school was evacuated and, eventually, burned down. There were rumors that there was a ghost seen around the grounds of the school, supposedly looking for her friend. The townspeople were extremely superstitious; each one of them shunning the area around the school, in hopes of the ghost leaving.

A new era. That's what they called it; they said that the new year would bring good things. Well, they were all right. All of the ancestors from 1866 were buried in the local cemetery, and there was not a care in the world. Nobody remembered why the townspeople lived so far away from the mysterious vacant lot that held the scenic side of town, that is, until a petition came; asking for permission from the townspeople to re-build a school there. Of course, the townspeople gave the mayor permission to build a new school. At the time, there was only one school in the small town. The small school held almost five hundred kids, and it was almost overflowing. There weren't enough materials or desks; but it was their surprise when the school ended up being a boarding school, instead of a public school. The government told the townspeople that there would be scholarships for all of the high-school-aged kids to go to the new school. And so the building process began.

Almost eight years after the petition was signed, the school was finally open. It was not sophisticated, it wasn't elegant, nor was it covered in ivy; it was modern. Well, it was on the inside, at least; the outside was old fashioned, still not so elegant or sophisticated. There were two separate buildings for the dorms, one for the cafeteria and a few stores, there were recreational places, and the forest that grew around the pond was left alone. A couple of the trees were cut down, but that was it; they liked the feel that the pond gave the school. Soon, applications were being sent in; everyone around the world heard about the new school, and everyone had to get their kids into the school. Only one problem: it was a magnet school. Which meant that it specialized in something, and that the students' grades had to be above perfect. Maybe the administration takes bribes; I'm sure someone will find out. For now, welcome to The Kennedy Academy for the Artistically Gifted; have a nice stay!
