[REJECTED] Magic - Advanced Slash Role Playing Game -
So I assume you already know about magic.
Of course, no one calls it that anymore. Magic, it's such an archaic word. Like demon or witch and those other silly fairy tale terms. The government prefers to call it "Supranatural Parascience", they prefer official terms the likes of "Advantaged Citizen" or, for all the normal people out there, "Conventional Citizen". They don't think of it as using magic, they call it, "Breaking the Equality Statutes Treaty".
You already know all this, don't you? It's been taught in schools for generations now, ever since the original Magic Restrictions of 1873. I assume you covered all this in your history class, how since the beginning of time there have been there "Advantaged" people, the ones with access to these - hell, let's just call them magics, like a normal person would.
But did you know - they always leave this part out of the classroom in case someone feels less equal- did you know they use to be praised? Yes! They use to be Gods, Priests, Magicians! People use to cower before them, they use to beg them for their help. There was a time, long before the time you live in, that these "Advantages" could actually be used, not just punished and controlled by the government!
There was a time when witches and demons and enchanters, they didn't have to hide their gifts. They were loved for them, not hated, and there was no Equality Statutes Treaty that kept them fearful and in line. There was no one waiting for them to slip, to use their powers accidentally so they could drag them away to an Equality Institution...
[THE RPG]
Rejected Magic is a modern day fantasy role play, aimed towards older slash fans who want a writing oriented game. Members are free to make their own plots, and too be as liberal with ours as they would wish, so long as they hold up their end of the bargain in their writing skills.
It's set on an alternative modern day Earth in which magic is very really - always has been - but government restrictions and laws have created a second class of citizen, and those who can wield magic have to be careful about letting themselves be outed to a very bias world.
