The Marauders and company have graduated from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry two years ago, and the Wizarding World is much different from when they were students. Lord Voldemort is growing stronger and stronger, and he has hundreds of followers at his command. Albus Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts, in trying to protect the innocent and those who are not following this evil man, has started a secret organization called the Order of the Phoenix. Not only did many skilled Aurors and strong witches and wizards join immediately upon hearing the news, but people from the Marauders' graduating class have joined, hoping they could help bring Voldemort to his downfall, and bring peace and safety once more to the now fragile aura that has become their lives.
The students at Hogwarts are now well informed about what is going on. Deaths are nightly being reported in the Daily Prophet, and a smaller newspaper, the Phoenix Chronicles is voicing their opinion on the whole war that is brewing, right before their very eyes. Now is the time the students begin taking sides; families, and lifelong friendships are being broken up while new alliances are formed. Voldemort is making his strength known, and while others are scared to death, the rest are preparing to join this evil man…
Everyone knows that after this war the wizarding world will never be the same again, and it is up to the Order to make the world a happier, safer place, where everyone can journey to London for buying their Hogwarts' school supplies without fear of another attack, one brought on by the Death Eaters. But can the Order do it? Is it even possible with the absolute power and heartlessness that they're up against?
Throughout this war prophesies will be made, friendships will be destroyed, and lives will be torn from this earth with only two little words. The famous words “everything’s alright.” will come from every mother’s lips, trying to assure their children that everything is indeed alright. But will those two such small, such powerful words ever be rung true? Or will everything, never again, be all right?
