There was a point in time, in the past, when the world was advanced beyond its years. Much farther than it is currently. One would not be lying if they were to say there were flying cars, and clones could be made. Magic, or rather sorcery existed then as well. The Lugooize Family was the most powerful during those years. The years before people now days even thought existed. The Lugooize's believed the human race reigned superior to every other living thing in the universe, much like today. They cared little for cats, dogs, fishes, birds, or any other creature. The world had been so far advanced that the common cold did not exist, it had been destroyed, or so we thought. This was a horrible mistake, on the Lugooize’s part. They had cured the world of all harmful bacteria and now one hume was known to be sick.
When an outbreak occurred, the Lugooize’s attempted to cure the population. They began first with children. They soon found none of their old ways worked. This was a superbug they had created. And soon, half the population was dying. The Lugooize Company began to separate the population. The cured where housed in Fort Magarian, and protection was put on the Fort to prevent the sick from coming in. When the methods of healing no longed cured the ill-fated, Lugooize attempted to alter their DNA. After all, the animals where never sick, they had become immune to the illness, unknown why to the inhabitants of earth. Even so the Company began taking any of the animals they could get their hands on. The easiest to find where dogs, wolves, cats, rabbits, and bats. They found others, but none took to the DNA of a hume as well. The world was falling apart at the seams; there was no stopping the destruction. All the animals, immune to the outbreak, became more savage. They attacked anything and everything. The hume’s locked themselves in Fort Magarian, and the Lugooize locked themselves in their Mansion. The experiments, locked away in the basement, never to be found, until one day.
When it happened, it happened quickly. The Lugooize, attempting to save the world, save humanity, had created something, something no one dared think in those days. They had created hybrids, as they were known then. Now we know these creatures as lycans, werewolves, and vampires. The Lugooize wanted no harm done to humanity, yet they failed. The humes, locked away in the Fort, came out to help the Lugooize, but the creatures were much stronger, and so a war broke out. Between the humes and the hybrids; the battle field, Fort Magarian. With the aid of warriors sent from a place faraway, the humes won the battle of Fort Margarian, but the war had just begun. While heaven sent its elves, vieras, and fairies, hell sent its demons, death, and the undead. The war was devastating; killing thousands each and every day. The Lugooize’s hoped for goodness for the sake of humanity.
The time in which these awful events took place was known as Depravation Era. In those times, people had only their despair and sorrows with them. After the war, the victors being the Humes, many of the cities flourished, while others stayed small. Unknown too many, the hybrids survived. They survived and are now rising to power. With the world as it are today, the hybrids, now known as ‘mystical creatures’ have taken into hiding. They know a war is coming, a war that will involve them and the humes. They want no part in it, they want to continue their lives and move on, away from the war.
These creatures want the world to know no sorrow; no despair, no hurt, no misery. Their hopes and dreams seem to mean little to the humes. Yet to the decedents of the Lugooize’s, their dreams mean redemption. They want to finish what their ancestors could not. They want to bring happiness to the creatures.
The Good Left Undone.
Sorcerers - During the Depravation Era, these beings were the ones who controlled the land. Only the noblest families knew of the dark sorcery; usually descendents of the Lugooize. They want to bring aid the creatures, they are the ones who created them, and no creator wants harm to come to their creations. Without second thoughts, these powerful witches and wizard are quick to kill. They consider themselves to be of the highest rank, any who challenge their word are known to be found dead.
Lycans - Lycans were once humes, until The Lugooize Company began their tampering with wolf and hume DNA. They were known as failed experiments, since the ill were never cured of the illness. The wolf DNA did not bond or cure the hume cause illness, they were forced out during the war. Their skills include their transformation, super speed and strength, and heightened senses. Their transformations allow them to heal quickly.
Werewolves - Humes believe there is no difference from werewolves and lycans. They are greatly mistaken. The way in which they came to be is entirely different. Where the lycans were created from the bonding of DNA, werewolves were created when the wolves of the land went rabid. They are known to be descendents of the Annagorries, who believe they could cure the people, yet they could not. Their fate was sealed when the first had been bitten, during the next full moon; all the Annagorries had been infected. They have an unexplained quarrel with the lycans. They fight over control for the land, a rivalry that continues today. They have little to no control over themselves during their transformation. Out of it, they have super strength, heightened senses, and they can communicate with wolves.
Vampires – Much like the lycans, Vampires were created by the Lugooize's. Bat and Hume DNA made them the blood sucking creatures they are known as. Their super strength and immortality; it is said when one of the vampires escaped, he found one of the darkest magic, immortality. This vampire also found the magic for super strength, telekinesis, transformations, telepathy, the ability to heal themselves and the power to transfer their powers to others. All these spells caused much damage to the vampires though; sensitivity to light, garlic, and strangely, the cross. They say the sensitivity to light is cause because of the bat DNA in them.
Humes - Like Humans, Humes are usually normal, and they have no powers. Their kind was used as experiments in Lugooize's plan to cure the illness. Throughout the war, much of their DNA had changed; the need to survive changed their ways and their bodies. They have been known to have some telepathic skills, super strength, or speed. Some have also been said to be able to communicate with animals. Although their DNA is altered, they are still considered to be the weakest creatures known in the world, and in Lemuria.
Elves – During the war, many years past, they were sent to fight for the good. Since then they have kept the peace, many of the elves fought in the war long ago, they know as well as history, it was not a wonderful time, before or after. The Elves continue to keep peace over the land. Although with the fight over Lemuria, that peace is slowly being torn apart. They hope there will be no war, for they wish to be able to leave, and go back to their past life. Their talents include control over the element earth, healing abilities, skills with a bow and/or sword, and they excel in hand to hand combat skills.
Demons – Summoned by hell to fight the Elves, these demons were said to have killed many. History tells us they fought on neither side, they only continued to wreck havoc on the land. Their kind hates every creature and only continues to stay, hoping to cause another war. The demons are usually outcasts of Lemuria, yet they are known all over. They're talents include super strength and speed. They have been known to be able to control the darker side of the elements, and some have been said to be able to transform, into what exactly, is unknown.
Fairies – The fairies were the only creatures known to have helped both sides of the war. Said to have been sent from a land far away, they helped creatures of both sides. They healed and cured the sick, provided food for the losing side, which at the time were located at Fort Magarian. Their skills include healing abilities, control over plant life, and the ability to fly, with their wings of course.
Viera - Although their kind appears to have ears akin to those of a bunny, their DNA was not altered. They were the ones known to have made the city located in Banshee's Forest, Voices of the Wood. They can communicate with the earth, and have sorcerer abilities. They are much gentler than the Sorcerers and use their power only if needed. They excel with their sorcerer abilities and they have skills with any weapon. They are kept to themselves and have rules they follow. Vieras are also known to be only female.
Death – With the war, death came. It took many lives, some good, and some evil. They have been known to take the form of Humes. They have done this in order to allow them to stay in Lemuria, for they refuse to go back to hell. When one encounters death, they feel misery and hopelessness come over them. Although some death has been known to be able to prevent this, their kind is not known to be found anywhere in the world. They have the ability to take and give life. Any life taken may not be brought back. Life they chose to give back must have been recent.
Undead – Those who were said to have died and been brought back by death. They have no need to eat, for their existence has no need. Unlike some myths, they do not feed on hume flesh or are thoughtless. They are usually left alone in Lemuria, their only company is death. They have the ability to speak to the dead, and they can kill nature.
