This Is Our Present...

We live hidden and scattered. Our existence a carefully guarded secret. Most of us are nomads, spending our lives traveling from one place to another as we try to live our lives. The modern day surrounds us, in some ways making it easier to hide but in others making it nearly impossible. Some grow weary of the life styles we must lead while others strain at the invisible leash, longing to put a end to the secrecy so that we might live in the light like the humans.

It is a time of calm like before a storm. Though a small number know of our existence and hunt us they are few and we can avoid them because they must operate in secret also. Like a game of chess being played that no one pays any attention to as long as the players don't raise there voices. Over all things are peaceful, life isn't that hard to live as long as we remain careful...

This Is Our Near Future...

Our kinds have lived in hiding for centuries, our lives where lies as we strived to blend in with the ever increasing human population, our single common goal to keep the secret or our existence. Well, we thought it as a common goal. I don’t know if the exposure was an accident though it is obvious from watching the video and viewing the pictures the media plastered all over that any caution was long forgotten by the Were. What exactly happened and led up to the event though isn’t our problem anymore. Our problem now is surviving.

The human population didn’t take the knowledge of us living among them very well. Like in the old horror flicks of monsters invading villages the humans panicked. The majority fears us and would run us out of town with flame and pitchforks but those methods are too archaic for these times. Now humans have got more creative and scientific means at their disposal. We’re nothing more then animals to them, animals that need to be either killed or locked up so we wont hurt them…
